Yeah, there were more than a few instances of concern/dismay about the bikini underwear from the folks, but I never went back. I got into thongs a fair bit later, in graduate school, so they've been spared that, as far as I know...unless I had a whale tail or something. But since I'm 90-95% string bikinis anyway, the risks have been low!

This was interesting to read ThongGizmo! I was introduced to thongs by my dad also - he’s always been a thong wearer, but this the first time I’ve come across someone else who’s experienced something similar. Really good to read everyone’s perspective.

Me too! I’ve never felt comfortable talking to other guys about my underwear, I think I’d like to, but it’s never come up. That’s what I love about this forum.

Oh good grief no! He wore proper white cotton undies, there was nothing special in dads undie choices

My dad was a tighty whitey guy. But when I was a kid, I snooped around and found a zip up leather bikini that I would wear when alone. My mom also had a red satin string bikini that I stole and got caught with. Ever since then, I've been into satin underwear and have a few pairs that resemble my mom's red satin bikini.
