My GF and I went to victorias secret... we had a younger lady offer to help us... the GF said I need matching styles and colors in size small and large...
tanga, lace, thong and g string...

she led us around...

she then said he has a small firm butt, what style fit him best... the sales lady... looked at me did not miss a beat and said he is size medium not large...
I pulled down side of pants and said these are large....

she smiled and said okay... I said I need it for my package... that is why no medium...

its was super fun... the GF had some hot matching sets with bras

In years gone by, when mens skimpy underwear and swimwear were easily available in 'actual' shops, I used to be very nervous about buying these skimpy garments. the experience consisted of loitering around the rail displaying them, then checking no one was looking, looking for the correct size, selecting what i wanted and paying. I usually waited until the assistant was alone so I wouldn't have people looking at my selection but generally shop assistants, more so women, could see my nervous/embarrased demeanour and were quite kind. Trying on bikinis was slightly more challenging as the assistant would usually look me over for correct fit and fetch another if I wasn't comfortable. On these occasions they were always very professional, but it was quite nerve racking hoping not to have an erection while they were looking at the bikini being worn, especially at the bulge which was the most front coverage, given that the sides were very narrow. Nowadays, I have lots ore confidence and have no problems with laying down my selections on the counter, assuming I find a shop selling such items and don't have to use 'on line'. Also now, with more awareness around 'sexual' behaviour I would be very wary of having an assistant look me over unless, of course, they were happy to do so.

My gateway was the old elance bikini but have since moved on from the brand since my late 20s.i think they switched production countries somewhere in the intervening years, and the fit wasn't as consistent nor the fabrics as soft or as pleasant on the skin. Also the sides became wider over the years and seem more akin to brief cut rather than bikini cut. I don't know if it's my own perception since I moved on to skimpier more narrow cut sides and thongs but I remember the Bikinis I had in hs and college being narrower in the sides.

Jockey Elance bikini briefs aren't the same as they were when I wore them 17 years ago, the sides are wider, now look more like a hip brief than a bikini. Looking at Jockey's selection of underwear (for both men and women) their bikini are more conservative than they used to be.

I just go online to buy underwear these days. Many more choices in terms of designs and lower prices. What I find in stores is either baggy "cool" or boring underwear for my taste.

I don't think CK Makes bikinis or thongs for men anymore, do they? Only boxer briefs and hip briefs.

Oh yes, I forgot about those... interesting how they market them as gay pride thongs, when they're nothing more than a variety pack of colored thongs! Got to make that money somehow! -\o/-

Can honestly say I've never owned or desired any item of CK underwear, and the thick waistband on those thongs won't change that, but maybe they will encourage their regular underwear customers to give a thong a try.
