As should be THEIR focus as well. If you are "flashing," briefly, so what? Same for the other guys. Considering the various movements you (and the others) are making throughout the workday, it sounds like thongs would be ideal for support, comfort, and maximum freedom of movement. Unless you change into (and out of) your work clothes in a locker room at the plant, how will anyone else know what you are wearing, anyway? And why should it be their business? Besides, some of the other guys may be wearing thongs already! Or a colleague may notice yours and ask how you like them. Forward to victory!!!

Yeah actually it felt a little less restricting to move around!
