I dress rather conservatively… How about you?

A place to talk about underwear in general that doesn't fit in thongs or bikinis.

I dress rather conservatively… How about you?

Post by ThongBum »

I tend to dress pretty conservatively. No outlandish colors or styles, usually jeans or shorts and a t-shirt.

Today I wore a pair of dark blue shorts with a grey t-shirt. And underneath I wore a very skimpy hot pink bulge thong.

Often how we dress is dictated by the jobs we do or the climate we live in. I also believe age is a factor, and as we get older we often moderate our choice of outerwear. I know I look back on pictures taken many years ago and think how did I have the courage to go out looking like that? Thankfully when it comes to underwear we can indulge our extrovert side knowing it might only be seen by a chosen few.Perhaps your local bank manager is wearing a skimpy thong under that suit and tie combo, but the hunky fireman who lives in your block hangs out boring boxer shorts on the washing line. I dare say a lot of us who follow this forum will dress fairly conservatively in our day to day lives, but would shock many of our workmates, customers etc if they knew what we wore next to our skin.

I’ve always had my own style, blazing my own path. I work in a very male dominate mans man workplace. As a result every one around me is dressed very conservative. Then I walk in the door with my bright colors, wild prints and bold designs. It is interesting that I get many compliments about my style, suits and color. When I go to the theater or out to social events I usually take it up a notch. I am always the one with the wildest most fun outfit (never inappropriate or risqué). I constantly have people coming to me to talk simply because of how I dress. I’ve met many great people this way. I’ve often heard “that is great, I could never wear that, I wish I could.” I’ve never really dressed conservatively , no need to start now. Of course my secret is that I am wearing a matching thong underneath.

I also dress conservatively. I also work in a male dominated office/business. So slacks or jeans and company issued shirt. But I try my best to match my thong to my shirt, or my mood. If I’m happy i’ll go with a brighter color or black if I want to feel sexy - there is something about black underwear makes one feel different.

I too dress relatively conservative - but no one would guess I have a thong on underneath unless I accidentally whale tail it :)

For me that would be "accidentally, on purpose"

I don't think I wear conservative, I work in a construction company but I don't care if my color or outfits are not masculine, I wear short shorts, but I love wearing cowboy boots so I dress like a texan Mexican guy, but always, I always wear my thong under my jeans or my tights if I go to the gym. so.

I like to think sporty thong / bikini wearers like the good things in life. Personally I like to reflect youthfulness and good energy. Love tees that stand out - lots of compliments so guess thats a good thing! , boots - extra confidence boost, shades, short shorts on hot days. They got length that makes it look like boxer briefs but hey how else are my legs gonna tan? Haha. Fitted and tapered jeans. Hip shoes - fitted hats, love using a lot of color as a contrast to black jeans and black shirts. It pops out well. Longer medium hair (used to be mid back length), stubble stache. Tanks even though my muscles are still a Work In Progress lol. Gotta stay confident, mobile, unrestricted, supported. Especially with the beautiful weather here. Sun for days!

Gotta keep it smooth not gaudy - some days beget a more stealth approach which I can appreciate too.

I'm not much of a "clothes horse!" It's pretty pedestrian -- jeans, casual sport shirt, or for work it's business casual. Sometimes my khakis get a bit tight, I suppose, but that's about as dangerous as I get! So I guess I dress conservatively (at least over top of a decidedly unconservative underwear choice.)
