Joe Boxer and Hanes String Bikinis
As usual, I fell down a rabbit hole while looking for new thongs. I saw a pack of some vintage Joe Boxer String Bikinis and I had to find them. I then saw some vintage Hanes String Bikinis and had to have those too!! but the problem is that they now sell from $35-$100! I really like them, but its not worth this much money. What do you guys think? Any place where I can find people who want to trade?

I also noticed that many of you have Joe Boxer String Bikinis. You guys got lucky!

Having some vintage pieces is cool, and I wore my Hanes string bikinis until they had holes in them. But I wouldn’t pay more than sticker price - they were okay but not terrific. There are so many more awesome choices.
I still have Joe Boxer and Jockey thongs circa 1999, they are okay but don’t get worn.

I'm totally with you here. I have some fond memories because Hanes and Joe Boxer were some of the first skimpier undies I ever bought and I really liked them. I don't have any of them anymore but I'm pretty sure if they were still in my drawer they probably wouldn't get worn much if ever.David_NC wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:39 pm Having some vintage pieces is cool, and I wore my Hanes string bikinis until they had holes in them. I still have some Joe Boxer thongs and honestly they’re not that great.

I like my joe boxer thongs but only the ones before they started imprinting the tags instead of having an actual tag.
They did some type of redesign and it was terrible.

I agree. I have a few of them too. They are at the back of my underwear drawer.ThongBum wrote: Thu Nov 16, 2023 4:18 am I still have some Joe Boxer thongs and honestly they’re not that great.

It is a steep price to pay for nostalgia. I have a couple of vintage Joe Boxer string bikinis that occasionally get worn, but not too often. I agree about the last-generation re-design they had as well. Terrible fit and quality; but they were terrific in their prime. I have seen some of the Ebay prices on underwear that I used to have and shake my head that, decades ago, I was literally sitting on a strange type of gold mine!

I should also add that I definitively trended downward in the frequency of wearing the Joe Boxer string bikinis because that was what I was wearing when I broke my back! Once I could move and feel my legs again, I was wearing a lot of all the other underwear except for those! Eventually I started wearing the brand again, but they fell off track not too long after that, I guess.

I bought a box of Joe Boxer string bikinis many years ago. While I did like their design, I didn't like the material. They didn't last too long. I bought mine from Ebay.
