I love the feeling of freedom that thongs give, but when it is time for me to go to work, I switch to regular boxer briefs.

What can I do to be more confident and wear them to work?

Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure why you feel the need to change from a thong to a boxer brief to go to work, unless your job requires you to perhaps change into a uniform in the presence of workmates, or your work attire is semi transparent like a hospital porter. Would help if you could tell us what you do for a living to enable us to offer advice on your situation.

Just take the plunge and do it. I started thonging exclusively earlier this year and haven't looked back.

If you’re wearing thongs under your pants, who’s to know except you. I can tell you that none of my workmates have any idea what I wear under my business clothes. I say take the step and wear what you like.

Pinguinman, I agree with what the other guys are saying! I am a now-retired pharmacist. I practiced for 36 years in both hospital and retail settings. I had on string-bikini underwear under my dress work clothes the entire time. That was for MY comfort as well as feeling good about MY body! It was no one else's business or concern. But to help us understand your situation more, does your work involve changing into and out of specialized work attire at your place of employment? If so, are you concerned that colleagues may get a "wrong impression?" (Understand that I am using the word "wrong" in reference to THEIR preconceived notions, NOT in YOU enjoying what you have a RIGHT to enjoy!) IF they judge you because they are ignorant, lazy and out of shape, well...I guess that's THEIR problem, NOT YOURS! At ANY time (within reason), wear what YOU want!!!

Congratulations on being true to you. Glad you were able to get out of your head and be comfortable with your choice to wear thongs.

Honestly I never gave it any thought! I have bikinis, string bikinis, and I have thong underwear, so it's a one in three choice for me. There have been times when I have worn thongs to work for several months. I never worried about being discovered. I never worried about anybody seeing my thong and quite honestly, I didn't care! They don't pay my bills, they don't share my bed, they don't buy my food, so why should I care what they think?

GenX, your "summation to the jury" with the "facts" about who is paying for your "Daily Bread and Bed" is spot-on! THINKING is not something THEY do!!!
