Sideball

No crudeness meant by the title, but what are your takes on this? I have some pairs that fit a little small and show sideball, doesn't bother me, in fact its one my favs, a orange DA thong. Is this a dealbreaker for any of you, fit wise?

Honestly I don’t care for it. I tend to prefer a more snug fit.

Definitely not a deal breaker for me. You just have to be mindful of not slipping out.

If it is a favorite, go for it! Just don't be flashing unless you are intending to do that.

I don’t mind it at all, I quite enjoy it personally. I’ve got a few smaller thongs from AliExpress that look like that, not for general consumption, but ok on a quiet beach.

This isn't something that I find very comfortable, admittedly...I like everything to be, umm, encompassed...no escapees or anything like that...

To me, that would be uncomfortable, and I wouldn't wear it, Jockey used to make their men's Elance cotton bikinis with a better fit, but then they changed manufacturers and the fit changed, the pouch was tighter and smaller, and my junk was spilling out and felt pressed and squished. I stopped wearing them and gave away what I had to friends. No, good underwear doesn't constantly remind you that you are wearing it. Even with thongs, a well-made, comfortable thong, I can go 18-20 hours and totally forget that I'm wearing a thong.

Just had this happen with a new pair...very disappointed. They are too loose around the "waist" and too tight around the caboose...and the pouch is WAY too small (not bragging here; I'm not exactly porn star material, but things were escaping far too easily). Not sure what happened with them, but I guess I'll Ebay them or something. Impossible for me to wear.

Surprised no one has mentioned how variations in temperature and exposure to cold water,to name but a few reasons, can affect the size of our testicles and increase or decrease the chances of "sideball." I notice a difference after manscaping or exercising. You might put on a g-string/thong etc and everything fits snuggly, but as the day progresses and the "boys" begin to drop, suddenly you find one making a bid for freedom. Going commando can also mean the fruit hangs lower than if entombed in fabric.

"Find one making a bid for freedom..." I see the logic in that, but I've tried to make one basic rule of thumb for my "basics" which is that everything I wear can be worn at any time for any purpose, be it bikini, string bikini, or thong. So, working out, lounging, 10 hour airplane flight and airport logistics, date night...whatever the circumstances may be. Other dudes may have a different philosophy or plan of use, for sure, but that kind of malfunction is a dealbreaker for me...

This is always my problem when trying new styles and I can't stand it. It was a constant problem for a few years because I always wore various Undergear thongs that just weren't roomy enough in the pouch. Then I found a style that didn't do that, but UG went out of business. I have the same issue with some of the Daniel Alexander styles as well. It just digs in where it shouldn't dig it and on many occasions I've had a ball pop out of the pouch. There is no good way to put that back in place when you're in a meeting.

I've had good luck with Joe Snyder (Pride Frame are my go-to) because they look exactly the way I want them to look and fit perfectly up front. Plenty of room, they stay where I put them, and they look great. Never once fell out of them by accident.
