Wondering what kind of store method everyone uses? Ball up, stack, hang on those necktie-style hangers to the side, random toss, square fold?

Personally, I like the square fold stack facing up. You see all your choices and they're all neat. Skimpy thongs are a pain to fold (lack of fabric) sometimes so this helps!

I don't have the space for it now but if I could I'd put my big collection on the closet pole. Using those hangers with the left and right velvet clips. Anyone ever tried that? Would love to, gotta be proud of our extensive collections! Imagine the color coding and style sort possibilities.

I have underwear in about 5 or 6 places. The ones that rarely see the light of day are in drawers in a spare bedroom. Most of my go to undies(mostly g-strings) are on a shelf in the wardrobe of my bedroom. Occasionally I will take everything out and separate the brands so that all of my Daniel Alexander strings will be together and so on. It's easy to fall into a routine of just wearing the ones that are on the clothes horse over and over again, rather than picking out something that hasn't been worn for ages, but that can lead to wearing out some of your favourites prematurely.

One place I have a disorganized pile on a shelf in the closet; the other place a disorganized pile in a dresser drawer...I'm not a terribly self-organized person...

My collection is a mess at the moment. My wife and I sold our house and had been living in our camper (a.k.a. RV or recreational vehicle, see also caravan) I have a few things with me, but the majority of my stuff is in boxes in storage. There are a number of boxes with my collection separated and packaged.

When we get into a new home I would love to have a closet big enough to display all my collection on hangars, but that seems unlikely. I have been folding things up and separating based on type and topic. Is it daily wear or only for special occasions? Thongs, bikinis, and boxer briefs get separated accordingly.

One trick I've found when it comes to folding thongs, I just tuck all the straps inside the pouch. This seems to keep them much tidier in my drawer than doing the same kind of 1/3 square fold that I use for the bikinis and boxer briefs.

I have four drawers full of undies (about 500 in total)
My top drawer is for G strings and thongs and is a mess, just thrown in there, I sort of have a system, with expensive brands on one side and very small g strings on the other side with the rest thrown in.
My second drawer are all bikinis, mostly micro bikinis, ice silk, usually very thin, black on one side, colours on the other side.
my third drawer is for mesh, see through and very delicate bikinis and my forth drawer is for outrageous undies that don’t get worn very often, but I can’t bear the owning them out.

I use several scarf hangers (with a hook and an upward curve either side). I separate the different types of thongs onto these hangers and this helps with even rotation. I have several pairs of vintage Tanga briefs which I don't wear that often. They sit in a drawer as they don't take up much room.

I have tons of underwear. I have my thongs stored in 2 drawers. One for cotton thongs and the other for my more expensive brands/fabrics. I also have a bin of everyday thongs that are my go to everyday thongs. I another drawer for briefs and bikinis. I also have boxerbreifs in another drawer. Since I wear thongs 99% of the time, the other drawers (and storage) rarely get opened.

I never saw much sense in folding or stacking my underwear. What's the point?
