Moisturising

I often visit my local pool for a swim. I like to look after my skin; should I put moisturising cream on immediately after showering (usually mid-afternoon) or can it wait till bedtime?

I think it would depend on how quickly the cream is absorbed once applied to your body. If you put it on just before bedtime it might just rub off on your sheets as you move around. If you apply it immediately after a shower you would have to make sure you had dried yourself thoroughly first. Probably best to go with the manufacturer's advice on the actual product and what is best for your skin type. I personally use a moisturising cream after I've manscaped down below and showered, or apply it between my cheeks before wearing a g-string.

Yes you should shower right after your swim and moisturize. You need to get pool chemicals off your skin asap. I recommend Curel Hydratherapy lotion. You put it on while your skin is still wet in the shower. Other Curel lotions are good too. Eucerin brand products are good too.
Another thing that's important that most men ignore is a facial skincare routine. I use CeraVe facial wash twice a day and CeraVe facial moisturizers. They make a daytime AM moisturizer that's spf30 to protect from sun damage and a PM moisturizer for bedtime. I tend to suffer from Rosacea and this routine has helped me greatly.
