For those who like pink underwear, German company Tangaland has introduced this as a new colour into some of its g-string range:

At EUR 24.90 they aren't cheap, but I can vouch for quality in other of their products. Note that these are string tangas in the European sense, so g-strings elsewhere.

Not familiar with this company, so I checked them out. Some great designs, although some of the micro pouches are so tiny that you'd probably be better going naked. I believe Germany has a very liberal attitude towards naturism so I assume these skimpy styles barely raise an eyebrow. As you mentioned, they are not cheap, but might be worth checking to see if they have regular sales or soon to be discontinued items at a cheaper price.

Oh I like those, yes, not cheap, I have a couple of pairs of Tangaland, but every now and then I’m worth it

Wow they have a wide variety of styles! I’m not sure I’m brave enough for some of them. Plug thongs, oh my!

I've never bought anything this "brief"....will be interesting to see how they fit! (And if I get up the nerve to wear them in public!)

These styles seem very extreme. I wonder if they are more for “play time” than daily wear. They seem on par with https://www.koalaswim.com/.

I'm not sure...since they're made in Germany I'm guessing that all of the pics of them were taken in Germany, and it seems like they're all regular beach-type pics. I know that I can't legally wear them on any public beach in NC (where I live) but maybe I can on my deck or in a private area out at the lake....otherwise then yes, they'll be perfect for "play time!" And yes, they'd probably be ok at a nudist or 'clothing-optional' beach or resort someplace....wish there were more of those in NC!

KoalaSwim is great stuff. They are based in the Los Angeles, California area. I have a great many pairs of the KoalaSwim bulge bikinis and thongs. They are a bit more fragile than your typical thongs, but they fit very well and the materials they use are top notch. I would highly recommend trying them out. I love mine. I spent about a week wearing almost nothing except my KoalaSwim suits in the BVI on my honeymoon with my wife. It was fantastic!

Since Koalaswim also has MTF flat-front thongs, I will add my favorite BBlair flat-front pink gaff thong link. These are well-made and stay on in rough surf. Only order from their site, not the phony copy on Amazon
