My own men's store?
My own men's store?
From time to time I have entertained the thought of opening my own menswear store and (of course) offer a good selection of men's bikinis, thongs, string bikinis and jocks. Of course I will stock more conservative styles- boxer briefs and Y-fronts too, but only because there's a market for them. Since women are the majority shoppers in the average household, I would expect to see more women in there than men to shop for clothing options. I would be interested to see how many women come in to buy skimpies for their men.

Believe it or not I’d thought of opening g a undies for guys store a while back.
I guess though, brick and mortar store have so many overheads compared to online, not sure how profitable it would be, but the best of luck with it.
I’d certainly visit it, if I was closer.

It's not a store you want to setup, but a franchise of such stores worldwide, so we can each operate one. The trouble is, it's said that restaurant owners eat the profits, pub owners drink the profits, so would underwear store owners just wear-out the profits.

What would you need first before you could open my underwear/swimwear store?

One of our forum members rents a space at one of the local flea markets in his home town and sells a selection of men's bikinis and thongs. He says that most of his customers are teenage boys, while the rest consist of married couples, and single men. Apparently he has been successful enough in his enterprise that he's been doing this for about one year now. Very inspiring!
