Steve Grand is the guy behind the Grandaxis brand(hence the name). He's a singer, musician(guitar and piano) and as stated above, models many of his own merchandise. Even before he started up his own swimwear/underwear company, he was often pictured wearing bikinis and speedos which unfortunately brought him negative comments from the board shorts loving media. I remember seeing a picture of him with two gay dads with their two sons all smiling for the camera. Steve and one of the dads were wearing bikinis and the other dad and the two boys were wearing shorts. One comment in particular stood out saying how disgusting it was for Steve and the other guy to be wearing speedos in front of the children, however I suspect the real reason for the negativity was homophobia on the part of the complainer.
I've seen lots of the grandaxis bikinis and thongs on guys on Instagram which is obviously good publicity for what I'd imagine is a relatively small company. Not sure what price range they sit at, but they certainly catch the eye.

Had a look at the GRANDAXIS website to check out the prices of their swim bikinis and thongs. I can safely say they are not in Nate's preferred price range(lol) and that is before you add delivery and potential customs tax charges. I couldn't find any info on standard delivery charges home or abroad, and their returns policy could prove to be costly. I don't see this brand being reviewed here unless Nate gets sent some freebies for that purpose.

theres so many double standards for sure!

I think the stereotype or "general idea/assumptions" that men are more sexual, more likely to be sexual predators to children and women when THAT'S NOT TRUE! both sides can be overly sexual and they've shown women are predators too.

I'm not saying overly sexual and predators is a good thing but men are seen as sexual fiends but yes women have sexual urges and are overly sexual too!

anyone with a heartbeat and genitals and has gone through puberty has moments of being overly sexual (hopefully in private)

we need to be more accepting of nudity (we were all born naked, right?) as not sexual but also know it works both ways with both genders on sexuality.

now I'm off my soapbox haha

I actually have tried Grand Axis. I got two different styles off a social media friend last summer. So I got them at a better price. He said he got them from a sample sale, so I don't know if they are the ones offering now or not. For that reason I won't be officially reviewing on my blog.

I find they take a bit of adjusting to get a decent look and fit with the ones I have. I can't just slip them on and be in my way like I can with most of my other swimwear. His suits aren't designed to hide the package that is for sure. He does offer an insert cup to help give a smoother look to the pouch.

This blog post actually has an edited artistic like photo of me in the mini brief. https://www.the-bottom-drawer.com/just-be-you/

Christian on Instagram is an ambassador for him, so can see him in Grand Axis stuff (a lot of the time thongs). Actually he gets lots of guys in the brand.

If I knew the pairs were what he offers now, I would say more about them. They are definitely more than I'm willing to pay for a pair, so won't be trying any new ones anytime soon. I will say they are well made.

Well before I checked out the Grand Axis website, I suspected there was an insert cup either already included in the swimwear, or available as an extra. Too many of the guys wearing the bikinis on social media appeared to have identical packages. The guy Christian that you mention certainly does his bit to promote the brand as well as encouraging more guys to ditch their boring swimwear for skimpier styles.

The designs look lovely , just what I love in swimwear , choice of narrow sides , briefish backs , solid colours , BUT BUT BUT they are about twice the price of what I would pay these days and that unfortunately is the deciding factor . So I won’t be buying anything from Grand Axis .

They seem to be in a similar price range to the JJ Malibu brand, which is also popular with guys on Instagram, but I think you'd have to wait for a sale or an item being discontinued before it would be affordable for many of us.

I've heard JJ Malibu isn't worth it. Grand Axis is made in the USA, which I can understand paying more over pairs made in China. Not sure where JJ Malibu is made. I agree both are too much money for a pair of swimwear for me.
