Anyone have any stories of how they were outed as a thong wearer?
Mine was an accident, but not an unwelcome one, as I am now I more confident in myself and my body.
How did they find out?

If someone is genuinely anxious about their thong wearing becoming known by friends, family, work colleagues etc, consider the possibility that your so called secret might already be out there, but has just not been deemed worthy of comment.Can you be sure you haven’t inadvertently shown the outline of your thong through light coloured slacks etc, or flashed it when reaching up or crouching down? If you want to be open about it without dropping your pants/trousers and shouting “check out my thong, people!” you could be more subtle and hang them out on the washing line with your other clothes, or if you don’t have the outside space, drape them over a clothes horse. That way they can be seen without making a song and dance about it, and if someone comes to visit and comments on them, you can be cool and say “if you haven’t tried a thong(or g-string, in my case), you should, they’re amazing, especially in this warm weather.” Look forward to hearing how your thong wearing was discovered.y2kthonger wrote: Mon Aug 15, 2022 3:34 am Anyone have any stories of how they were outed as a thong wearer?

Yes to some extent. It happened to be my grandmother who outed me to my uncle and technically aunt since they just married.
Disclaimer: Let me say that I wasn’t there but my grandma is telling me over the phone how it all happened. I’m telling this from her perspective.
Anyways, my uncle( who is just 13 years older than me, see him like an older brother) had been visiting my grandparents house and was in the garage going through the mountain of boxes for stuff of his. So he is rummaging through box after box and it just so happens that two of my sukrew Bubble thongs in red and blue i had left were in one of the boxes my grandma intended to give to me once I came down.My grandmother told me that my uncle then notices the red and blue thongs and picks it up asking my grandmother “Mom! What are these?!” My grandma tells me that all she said was “They are underwear.” My uncle then asks her “Yes Mom but whose thongs are these!” My grandmother told me that before she said anything my aunt notices that they are mens and tell my uncle that those are thongs for guys. My grandmother told me she took them and looked at them and jokingly told my uncle he should wear these and tosses it to him. My uncle grabs them and says “no thanks I don’t plan to sorry.” He then continues to ask “ mom whose thongs are these? I bet it’s one of the boy?Which one of my nephews wears thongs?!” My grandmother told him why does it matter and it’s underwear anyway. He then says I bet I know whose thongs they are and proceeds to say my name and my grandmother just says “ We’ll of course who else would you think those are! He is the only one that comes around. The thongs are his I’m going to give them to him once I see him. He forgot them. ” He then says “ I knew it I can’t believe my little brother wears thongs! I guess he doesn’t wear those carton briefs anymore!” The part that made me little embarrassed was when my grandma told me my aunt picked it up and says he should give them a try and my uncle says to my aunt “heck no and don’t get to excited now! Don’t forget my nephew has worn those…”
When my grandma told me what had happened I didn’t know how I felt. I somewhat felt excited, embarrassed, and naughty all at the same time. Has anyone experienced anything similar. Also I apologize for the long comments I make. And if you have any questions or want to no more. I am always open to chat!

There were two confirmed instances of where I whale-tailed out and one I suspected I did. One instance was when I was in my colleague's BMW and I swung my legs out to get out of the small car so when I leaned forward, my jeans gapped back massively and my (female) colleague whistled and called out -- wow, a black Calvin thong! A few years before that, I was a research assistant for a prof and I was working through files, standing up, kneeling or squatting down, and my shorts had slid down and revealed the gray cotton thong (either a UX or Joe Boxer, considering the year). The (female) prof cleared her throat and gently suggested that I might have been showing more than I intended and should pull my shorts up.
The other suspected time I had been stopped for speeding by a state trooper...of course, I fumbled with my registration as I was leaning over to get it from the glove box of my truck, my own door was open so he could see all of it, and I had to lean way over to get it. The trooper just clamped his mouth shut after saying "I'll be right back." I got off with a warning. I didn't think much of it at first until I got further down the road and some of my skin stuck to the leather upholstery, and I realized that my jeans had ridden down and the t-shirt was up. I think it was another CK....
Others were in voluntary and consensual situations and I think everyone knew already!

As far as family, the topic itself helped me be a bit lucky, I reckon. I bought my first pair out of curiosity (accidental Asian missized tanga, super small) and shared it with my mom, to her shock and disapproval lol. That got thrown away.
The outing aka my 2nd attempt: She always knew my penchant for briefs and actually stumbled onto a thong pair in the laundry I bought from Amazon that were very subtle. She was actually supportive this time, and in the funniest way. She asked me about it but the moment I tried to explain she got a little maybe over-TMI'd about the topic and accepted the privacy aspect too.
My dad found a pair in my pants (thinking the jeans were his) for sure, convened with my mom. I don't know exactly what they talked about but it's been years and I never heard a single word about it from him lol! Definitely grateful for her support.

It's kind of funny -- I mentioned elsewhere that my first thongs were UX from Target back in the late 90s. I had kind of purchased them by accident too. I had grabbed two multipacks of what I thought were the string bikinis, but one was a box of thongs. I only realized it when I got to the checkout aisle, and I just went with it. I started wearing them, and wearing them pretty often, and then intentionally bought Joe Boxer and CK a little later.

My two brand new pairs of Doreanse 1234 neon sport thongs came in bright shiny cardboard boxes. the front has a full colour image of a man from the front wearing one, the back of the box has the same with the man facing away clearly showing him wearing the thong. I placed these two boxes right top of the cardboard recycling tray which is on the pavement waiting to be collected by the council. Hopefully, whoever sees them might be inspired to try one. or perhaps already wears thongs and it will bolster his confidence. Just for reference to anyone interested in these, the sizing is odd. I am a 32" waist . the ones I bought were small 30-32 ". so fit well on the waist. the front has a centre seam but the pouch is quite snug. great for me, but anyone with greater needs in that department might want to check out the reviews for the medium.
