What are your thoughts on the exposed thong as a fashion choice?

I personally find it attractive and think it can complete the right outfit. I've worn several different outfits with the straps of my thong or g string showing. It can add a beachy, or grunge vibe to your style. It definitely gets some looks. I have a couple side tie thongs from asos that I tie slightly above the waist of my pants. At quick glance one might think it's a shoestring tied as a belt, which is trendy in the skating scene. Fashion and style will always be subjective, so not everyone will be a fan.

Many guys unintentionally show off their choice of underwear when they crouch down or bend over, but it appears you deliberately set out to show off your thongs. I guess it would make a pleasant change from the usual boring boxer shorts that regularly make an unexpected appearance when the wearer bends over or whatever, and in those circumstances I might be tempted to comment and compliment a guy on wearing a skimpier style, but I think there are more subtle ways of advertising your preference than having them continually on show above your trousers/pants. You mentioned that a friend had told you that she could see your black thong through your tan coloured linen pants, and even though you didn't set out to show it off, that was the outcome. It's a good way of letting people know what you wear without being totally in their face. I always wear a G-string when wearing white shorts or trousers to lessen the vpl, but it doesn't bother me if people notice it underneath my outer clothing.

I don't advertize, but I figure that if it shows, it shows.

Well, I have showed my thong accidentally, when I workout I wear tights and one time I was working out with my friends and I was squatting and I didn’t know that my compression shorts got transparent every time I squat and my female friend laughing and after she moved on but she didn’t mention anything.

I expose mine regularly. Sometimes you hear giggling. I have never experienced a negative reaction.
