Pouch size question
Pouch size question
Hi guys, so Im a newbie considering buying my first thong. Specifically I'm looking at the Intymen sports thong and the Doreanse Aire thong that Nate mentioned in his top 5 blog post. My question to you more experienced guys is how accommodating are the pouches on mens thongs in general? I was blessed with above average size equipment. Now ironically I always roll my eyes when I see guys posting about how well endowed they are in reviews and comments online lol. Forgive me if I seem vain I just don't want to have my balls hanging out the sides of the pouch....not a good look or feel. Based on the Intymen waist size guide Im right between a large and xtra large. Should I size up for a larger pouch or will it matter at all?
Re: Pouch size question
It's hard to really generalize pouches of thongs. If a fabric has stretch to it then it will accommodate more than less stretchy fabric. There are brands that make different pouch sizes. In general I wouldn't recommend Doreanse for above average size with most of their styles I have tried. However the Doreanse Aire is one that breaks away from their smaller than most other brands pouch. It also is a lighter weight fabric with stretch to it, so it may do the job for you. With the Intymen sports thong I technically would be a size large by their size chart, but I went with a medium (typical size I buy in most brands) and it fits fine. I don' t know if sizing up would help with pouch size or not. Intymen thong has stretch to the fabric, so it should have some decent accommodation too. I did skim over the reviews of them and only saw one mentioning bigger package. They said it might take some fiddling to make sure the pouch is where it needs to be, but once you have it adjusted it fits great.
I always recommend reading the reviews if there are any to help with decision making. We are all different, which is why I encourage others to comment on my blog posts to give other views. I'm not above average and I do typically like snugger fitting in the pouch so I have little movement just for your reference.

Re: Pouch size question
I follow someone on IG that is also blessed. I asked him if he has a difficult time finding the right thong and like Nate said he orders from specific brands that either have larger pouch options or stretchy materials. Some of the brands he likes is Pikante, Armani, Ergowear, N2N, and Mckillop. I’m sure there are other brands like Andrew Christian. Another question is do you prefer to hang natural or more snug this will also determine the brand or style pouch you prefer.
Some may like the protrude style pouch that lifts and presents the goods more. It’s all about what is comfortable to you.

Hey,
Welcome to your first thong, you’ll have an amazing experience and it takes lot of courage to do it.
Well at Nate and David mentioned, the pouch depends lot of the brand, fabric and style.
I’m not above average size man, so congratulations if you have a big tool, lol.
Well, reading other comments you did, I noticed you are a swimmer, that’s mean you are familiar to snuggling pound.
I recomendable you:
John sievers thong, One of my friends (with big equipment like you) wears this thong and he said he likes it, it has enough room to let his balls and dick moving around with enough snuggling.

Ergowear is another brand with enough room for your bulge, and if it is not enough the fabric is stretchy enough to support your package.

And my personal favorite N2N bodywear, it specialty is stick bulge out, fabric and style are stretchy and snuggly is going to take little bit of time to get use to the tightness but ones to dominate it you’ll love it, also, prepare yourself to show off your bulge on your pants these thongs going to make your bulge look huge.

Re: Pouch size question
Thanks guys for the very helpful replies and warm welcome. I finally got around to ordering my first thongs! I went with the ones I mentioned above, the Doreanse Aire and Intymen sports thong. Thanks tbdrawer for your comments on sizing. I went with a Large with Intymen thong. DavidNC and CrossfiThong thanks for your suggestions on brands as well. I'll keep those in mind for future buys. Those N2N thongs look really hot. I'm excited to get these soon and will post an update on how they feel.
Re: Pouch size question
Update: I got both my thongs, the Intymen and the Doreanse. Was excited to try them on the night I received them. My first impression as a new thong wearer was "wow these really are tiny" lol! They are definitely sexy and it really feels like wearing almost nothing. The Aire thong lives up to it's name, it feels like air! Honestly its been a little too cold here to wear thongs much but I've had a chance to wear both of them for a day each. My experience so far has been mostly positive. I am a little disappointed with the amount of support they give my equipment. The material is soooo stretchy it feels almost like I'm dangling down there. I guess I'm really used to tighter bikinis and swim briefs that hold my cock and balls tight. As for the back, I actually kinda like the feeling. It's not the "wedgie" that people fear with this style. It really feels kinda of good. These will be nice during the hot summers we have here.
I haven't been able to gauge how my wife feels about them. She hasn't seen me wearing them but I showed them to her. When I first told her I ordered some male thongs she reacted negatively, but we have had some light hearted and humorous conversation since then about my trying them on.
I'm not sure I could be a full time thonger but it's nice to experiment and explore with them.

Re: Pouch size question
The Aire isn't one for a lot of support between the light fabric and the thin waistband. It had more than I was expecting from it when I pulled it out of the package the first time. Then package size would play in there too. For me it works for everyday non active support. The Intymen sports thong hopefully gives more than the Aire. Glad to hear overall it has been positive. Hopefully, the wife will enjoy them once she gets a good view of you wearing them. Keep experiment with other brands and fabrics for better support. Maybe go off the bikinis you like and see if the brand offers a thong. I'm not a full time thong wearer either though I do get on a rolling wearing them at times. I'm usually about a 50% of the time bikinis and 50% of the time thongs. Summer is more of a thong time for sure. Thanks for the update on your experience.
Re: Pouch size question
Hi swimmer
Glad you made the choice to try thongs! I cant imagine my life without.
I almost exclusively order a size up on all my thongs. I'm an "athletic" (read skinny) build so my size indicates S, but i find medium for almost all thongs works for me. Otherwise the centre strap is typically too tight. But like others have said, fitment between brands can differ significantly. In most cases where I've tried different sizes for the same thong, the pouch size doesn't change much, mostly just the length of the waistband/centre string.
As for recommended brands, i find typically n2n has generous pouches but you should definitely order a size up. About the only brand i actually order size S thongs is jm, pouch size is also decent. Some of gregg hommes thongs have roomy pouches, others not so much, and run quite $$$. My limited experience with ergowear is also good size pouch.
As far as support, most thongs offer great support without being tight or restrictive. The doreanse thong has a different design/structure so it's meant to feel loose but at the same time secure if that makes sense. I think it fits nice, and the size is so deceiving. At first it looks like ordering two sizes up would've been the way to go, only to find out after putting it on that one size up fits perfect!
Hope this helps!

Re: Pouch size question
I pferer a tight, snug fit for nighttime thong. When having a bulge during the night the crotch area fabric puts a pressure to CV1 acupuncture point and adds the sensation - therefore I wake but fall asleep again.
For daytime thong larger pouch.

Re: Pouch size question
Wow it's hard to believe I started this thread almost 2 years ago! I see it's gotten a lot of views. I'm now a regular thong wearer and mix it up with bikinis pretty evenly. I still have and regularly wear the Doreanse Aire thong and the Intymen sports mest thong. The quality and durability of those two have been very impressive. I don't have a big collection of thongs but have added to it some. Recently I bought some Ikingsky thongs, g strings, and bikinis off of Amazon. They have nice accommodating pouches that stretch and fit my penis pretty well. My next buy will probably come from Ergowear. I've had eyes on their thongs and bikinis for quite awhile. N2N is another potential buy for me as well.
