I remember seeing way more guys wearing thongs in the 80s and 90s. There were always guys in thongs on my local beaches. At the gym, most guys wore thongs under their aerobic clothes. All the stores that sold aerobic wear also sold thongs to wear with the outfits. You would see many thongs in the locker rooms. I wonder why things changed?

Dunno. I hope things swing back, tho....I want thonging to be mainstream.....

It's interesting; I wonder how much of our interest in underwear, at least for a bunch of us here, comes from its taboo nature (for bikinis or thongs, etc.) If it WERE mainstream, would it still be as interesting? I think so, but not sure that's the same for everyone!
