Thong on cruise

I am going on a cruise with my wife in July and I'm planning on wearing my swim thong in public for the first time. Any advice for a first timer? My wife is supportive of me wearing them.

Wear your thong and be confident. You will likely be the only man wearing a thong. Even a Speedo is not common. I have worn thongs on multiple cruises, including the cruise I came off of a few weeks ago. Every time I was the only man wearing a thong, with only a couple other men in bikini/briefs style swimwear. 99% of the men were wearing board shorts. I’ve never had a problem wearing a thong on a cruise ship and often have women happily chat me up.

I encourage you to wear your thong proudly and with happy confidence.

Have a drink or two before getting dressed. It definitely helped me. After that, the hardest part is making it from your lounge chair to the pool.

John – From what you say you have the approval and support of the single most important person that will be aboard that ship. “My wife is supportive of me wearing them.” With her on your side, you can do anything. Go for it!!!

I will definitely have a couple before heading out to calm the nerves. I figured that would be the toughest part. Packing them and putting them on is the easy part.

John, here are a couple of thoughts which came to mind. Before you and your wife head out to the pool, walk by there and see what the other guests are wearing. The chances are fairly good that some of the guys and gals are wearing microwear of various types. Also, what sort of swimwear does your wife like? If bikinis or the like, why shouldn't her man dress in the same manner? No reason why the two of you can't be the "Hot Couple," and show 'em how it's done! There is nothing wrong (or obscene) about a couple who are confident in their own skin!
