Genuine compliment or pro social teasing

I see so many posts here of people being put down by their underwear choice. For our bikini brief and colored brief wearers Am I the only one here that has gotten a genuine compliment or playful positive teasing of "nice underwear" and "they look good" or something similar like that?

You are not the only person that has gotten honest enjoyment from others for the choice of underwear and/or swimwear. Everyone that I have been in more intimate contact with has genuinely enjoyed my “sexy” underwear. Ive been asked what other sexy undies do I have, with big smiles, excitement and pleasure. I’ve been asked to wear special pieces because they made her hot seeing me in the thong or bikini (although I have very few bikini underwear). I have never had a neutral or negative reaction from an intimate partner when it comes to my underwear choice.
I have friends that will ask me to wear a particular thong to the beach and make comments about my new thongs that are extremely positive. I have had a few women tell me that what drew them to me was my ability to wear a thong with confidence, joy and comfort.

I’ve had quite a few compliments about my thongs and g-strings that I wear to the beach, so not that unusual.
It always feels good to get complimented.

I consistently get compliments. No worries from me...I'll get a playful tease every now and then too, but that's also not a bad thing! I think the only outright teasing was back in high school, and then even that didn't last too long. Just a remark every now and then, although the creepy janitor was an annoyance.

’ve gotten a few nice Speedo compliments from fellow swimmers at my pool, which is always a good feeling. But my favorite one happened totally out of the blue.
A couple years ago I was traveling and staying at a very standard, off-the-interstate Hampton Inn. I never travel without a Speedo in my bag, so even though the hotel didn’t have a pool, it did have a sunny deck with a few chairs. That was good enough for me.
I threw on my suit, grabbed a towel, and laid out for a bit, soaking up the mountain sun. Most of the other guests were there to hike or cycle, and I figured I was pretty much on my own. Apparently not.
Out of nowhere, a totally normal, friendly guy walked by, smiled, and said something like, “You’re looking great—nice suit.”
Simple, unexpected, and a total confidence boost. Compliments like that stick with you.

I only can report the many feedbacks about my beach thongs, having no many occasions to show underwear styles.
I received compliments, irony and negatives.
Men in thongs are extremely rare here but somehow women like it, especially 40-50 years old are more interested in showing their approval
