I'm 100% thong-wearing Belgian guy, but even here, you hear too many negative reactions; positive ones are in the minority. That being said, I also think many negative reactions stem from men wearing extreme thongs where it's not allowed, simply to show off, which is why thongs are banned in many places. Eather in southern European countries like Spain, it's more accepted, and you rarely get any comments when wearing a thong. Here, you can take undisturbed walks on the beach in a thong without anyone making nasty comments. What I want to say in conclusion is that if the perverted thong wearers refrain from their behavior in public places where it is not appropriate and wear a normal, neat thong, the image that people attach to a male thong wearer will become more accepted and there will be less negative reactions.

I liked the "more likely that about one in every 7 or 8 men actually owns a thong, thought they may not wear one often. Think about that the next time your are with a group of your mates, if there are 10 of you, there is a high probability someone in that group owns thong underwear."
