Has anyone else here ever tried to talk to younger adult men about switching from their boxer briefs to wearing bikinis or thongs?

Or how many of you have sons that wear boxer briefs or tighty whities, and your trying to turn them on to wearing bikinis and thongs?

Who could be the target person?
Relatives, maybe sons? Gym , pool or beach goers who sees us in thong? Others?
I never acted as " thong evangelist " except some interaction at beach with strangers but have not great success with 18-30 range

My apologies perhaps I didn't adequately explain myself. Let me give you an example: you're at the gym or maybe if your job has a locker room where you can go shower and change before you go home some employers provide locker rooms with showers and someone else happened to notice your bikini or your thong underwear and they started asking you about it and you are able to overtime convince them to try bikinis or thongs.

I can't say it's someone younger than me, but my college roommate freshman year. He was pretty quiet shy. He saw me in jockey and Murano bikinis all the time freshman year. I wore them to bed and would strip down in front of him to change. No big deal to me, but I could tell he hadn't seen undies like mine before.

He finally brought up my bikinis one night and asked a bunch of questions. Yes, the are comfortable. No, they aren't gay (always thought this was weird). Yes, my gf loved them. Yes, I had worn a thong. Yes, they were comfortable.... and so on.

Eventually, I told him where he could get his own. A week later, I caught a glimpse of red jockey elance bikinis as he slid into bed. I was proud of him. I knew his mom didn't buy them, so I didn't say anything until he studying in them one night. I just said 'nice undies' and he just smiled and said thanks.

Kinda hope he still wears them.

i’m late 20s here but i had an older boy turn me onto thongs and jocks when i was like 14ish

If it is brought up in casual conversation, then of course! I love wearing thongs, bikini briefs, jocks, etc. so I will definitely try and show guys the better options.
