Women's love affair with big underwear for men... what's up with that?!
I’ll never understand what it is about really big men’s underwear that women find so attractive?! What is it about seeing their man wearing big, giant Y-fronts, that look like great, huge, baggy diapers that women find so irresistible? Or boxer briefs that go up past your belly button and down past your knees that makes women say to themselves, "Yep, I'd smash that!" I’m just glad that men don’t share the same rationale as women. I have never dated a woman, secretly hoping that she wore big, huge, white cotton granny panties, and then broke up with her when she didn't!

I would imagine there are many women who don’t want to upset the balance of power in a straight relationship.
They don’t want competition in the attractiveness department

I have a thought. I think many woman will say they prefer boxer briefs in group conversations because they don’t want to be seen differently by their friends/family/society. But, get them alone and often there is a different outlook. I’ve had this conversation with a few women friends of mine. They have admitted they would rather see their men in something more sexy but have difficulty saying so to their peers or their men. Why? Fear, concerns of not being accepted, and conformity all have been answers. On a more personal level, when the women I know find out that I wear thong underwear and swimwear the curiosity goes way up. They tell me how sexy that is. They ask if they can see. They want to know the color and fit. And, almost universally I am told how they wish their man would be willing to wear sexy underwear. More than anything I hear about how they wish their men would be more attentive, more open and more sexy.
Maybe I run with a unique group. I don’t think so though. I think more that women find men that are confident, comfortable and willing to be authentic are more important than anything. So if you are going to wear a thong or bikini style briefcase own it, be your self and know your confidence.

When (if) the topic comes up, I just point out that women who go to strip clubs are going to see male strippers wearing sexy thongs and bikinis, and not huge, baggy Y-fronts and boxer briefs.

Right on! Women will never openly admit to their female peers (or their man) what they really want. I think it's fear of rejection.Guitar T wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 2:13 pm I have a thought.
