Gonna be honest. I have very fond memories of Jockey elance bikinis. In their day the were forward in mens underwear. Loved the different colors patterns and the tube! I really wanna like the new stuff (thongs, give them credit) and what they call a string bikni are all just totally cut wrong. Wonder how jockey keeps getting wrong since then.

Agree! I loved their men's Elance string bikini, but they discontinued it, who's foolish decision was that! What they consider a bikini is not a bikini by definition. Their thongs are way too big and what they currently have listed as string bikinis are not! When it comes to men's styles jockey seems to have been infected with this big underwear craze, making men's underwear as big as possible!

I still wear Jockey Elance Bikinis but I feel that Jockey has catered to the older generation and they’ve tried to modernize their line with all of these big thongs and string bikinis that do not fit!! Jockey should return to what they once were!!

I've bought some of their Elance string bikini but I think the waistband is not the most comfortable. Isn't the whole idea that you don't want to wear as much fabric? Jockey's definition of what the men's string bikini is seems to be the kind with no material on the sides, essentially the same as the old style that Joe Boxer used to sell. Some countries and brands refer to that style as a tanga briefs, but not everyone uses the same terms so it gets confusing.

Part of the issue I've had with the Jockey string bikinis is that they aren't cut high enough on the hips for my taste. They had one line a couple years back that did, and then they discontinued them. Maybe it's the way I'm built (I don't think this is it, because I do have a caboose!) but the way the underwear lands in the picture on the packaging is generally not the same as they do when worn, at least for Jockey.

Jockey products were the best in the late 80s and the early 90s!

This is what I think a string bikini should look like, but Jockey discontinued them last year!

The tube. If you saw somebody walking around in the department store holding the tube, you knew exactly what they were buying.
I can remember feeling butterflies in my stomach, carrying it up to the cash register.
I’m sad they have changed the cuts. On one hand, I applaud them for continuing to make thongs and bikinis, and I appreciate the price point. But they just aren’t the same. I have tried to make the new ones work, but I have to admit they just aren’t great.

Love Jockey underwear. Love seeing someone in traditional y-front jockey shorts (briefs).
Liked their tapered boxer shorts and jock straps too.

After college, I wore the elance bikinis in the tube. I also had a ton of the string bikinis. Now, I'm a thong guy.
