I'm new to wearing thong underwear, in my mid 20s. I ordered some online recently and began wearing them to places like the grocery store and shopping malls. They feel amazing when I'm alone, but as soon as I'm in crowded areas, all I can think about is how I'm almost naked under my sweatpants. I get especially nervous when women walk past me, or someone is standing/walking behind me for some reason. Like they have x-ray vision I try to ignore it, but feeling a constant breeze on my butt and legs feels both embarrassing and freeing haha

Today at the grocery self checkout, an employee (black, amazing body, taller than me, in her late 30s) was watching the area while I was paying for my things, it felt like she somehow knew I was wearing a thong the way she was looking at me, maybe I was imagining things. I've found recently that it would be a dream of mine for an older woman to find out I'm wearing a thong somehow. Maybe I feel like thongs "belong" to women, so that's why I get scared nervous around them while wearing.

All I can say is…enjoy the feeling The rush, confusion, excitement, etc, for better or for worse, wear off over time.

Welcome to the forum and I agree with Thonger13, enjoy the feeling. It can be nervous at first and you will find yourself casually checking that your shirt is tucked in so you don’t show the top of the thong. It is an amazing feeling and confidence boost to know you are wearing something so skimpy and no one knows. As time goes on and you get more comfortable you’ll forget you are wearing them at all. If you don’t mind us asking, which thongs did you decide to experiment with first?

I had the exact same feeling when I started wearing thongs while out and about. I kept wondering of certain people could somehow "just tell"

On the flip side, these days I find myself talking with an attractive lady and occasionally thinking "if she only knew"

Hi and welcome tww192! Congrats on making the jump to your first thongs! Yes, being self conscious out in public is normal when you start out. You will gradually get used to the airy feeling of thongs and wonder how you ever wore anything else. Like others have said just embrace it and enjoy the experience.

I understand the sensation so be happy and enjoy.
I don't think the cashier has x-rays vision but beware transparent summer pants or low rise one
At your age I made my debut to beach thongs... This is absolutely a crazy sensation

It has been more than a month since you made this post. I am wondering how you are faring. Do you still get nervous when you wear a thong? Has anyone made any comments about your underwear? Do you still think that people have x-ray vision and know what you are wearing under your pants?

I wear thongs everyday, and now I just don't care what others think. I make sure that my thong doesn't show when I sit down, but if a 'whaletail' happens, then I am just like 'oh well'. Sooner or later, the novelty is going to wear off, and you're going to think that thongs are just underwear.
