A month or so ago my wife’s old college roommate bought a house near us. Recently divorced after 20 years. We have been helping her get moved in and clean up the property. Last Wednesday my wife called me and said her water heater went out. I told her I would put a new one Saturday morning. I bought a water heater and my wife and I went to install it. I got it in the basement and started the install. Old house wide open basement not finished off at all. Only thing down there was the washer and dryer and furnace. The ladies decided to go for a walk and I got to work. In just a hour I had it installed they got back from their walk. I told her know more cold showers you’ll have hot water in 45 minutes. She laughed and said I don’t take cold showers. Whatever I thought let’s go get something to eat. Once back to the house I washed my hands told her you have hot water now. I loaded my tools up and I noticed I didn’t have my pipe cutter. I went back down to the basement and found it. I heard the water turn on so I was looking at the pipe connections to see if there were any leaks. I seen something fall from the laundry shoot leggings then socks and a shirt. Yellow and white thong landed on top. I did the unthinkable and she wasn’t kidding about not taking cold showers. We went home and went about our day. That night I got a text thanking me for helping with the water heater. Then a blink camera recording with me admiring the laundry. wtf I thought I knew I had to come clean with my wife. My wife and I are very open about our past we have talked about all our partners. I showed her the video and she laughed she baited you. We used to do that in college and see who would steal or underwear. She the asked well I just shook my head and said you couldn’t smell that bad on your worst day. She called her friend on speaker laughing when she answered you baited my husband. She laughed he took the bait. Yes he did my wife said. He said it smells great. Breakfast in the morning my wife asked? Yep she said. My wife said I always have dirty thongs to sniff . Buy the way her cat tastes worse than it smells.

Dam that’s funny you got red handed with proof. Thats cool now you know it is ok to check out other women’s thongs by your wife.
I probably won’t do it again. I never had in the past. Fun experience though. Glad I just smelled it instead of what my wife said.
Guys will be guys. I got baited worse in college. I was out at a local bar with friends. I got a tap in my shoulder and it was my gf’s roommate also in college. She initially said I just wanted to say hey I saw you over here having some fun with your buddies.
We had a few more exchanges of the usual, how’s classes going etc. she then walked away and I couldn’t see where she went in the bar but I wasn’t really caring. About an hour later she comes over again and says hey I see you’re still here, you mind if I hang with you guys a bit. I asked who she was there with. She said another friend but she had to leave. I said it was fine. There were six of us including her. I began to notice the more she got involved in the conversation she started touching my hand and my leg more often. I really didn’t think anything of it as girls do that sometimes.
Then out of the blue she leans over and says hey Jenn (my gf) went home for the weekend, how bout if you take me home with you tonight for some secret fun. I just knew something didn’t feel right. She wasn’t even drunk. I just said to her, well that’s very flattering but I don’t think Jenn would approve. She would hang us both. She seemed to take it in stride and she ended up leaving on her own a few minutes later. I felt no need to say anything to my gf about it for fear of causing issues with her roommate.
That Monday after the weekend my gf was back from home and after class we met at the library. After the initial how was your weekend conversations, she leans closer to me at a table in the library and said, “you’re a keeper, you passed”. I was like what does that mean? She said the whole thing was set up by her and her roommate to see if I would take the bait. It pissed me off initially but my gf then said let’s go back you your place, I want to show you how grateful I am. Let’s just say it all worked out.
