Girls in college decided to be nice and not embarass me

In college I stopped studying around 10 then would take a shower, put on some briefs and go to bed. FTL colored ones. Red, blue, navy blue, black etc or jockey red or blue low rise. I Wore colored 90 percent of the time. Sometimes before bed I would chat with my roommate about our classes, upcoming test, studying, we would vent. Etc. I asked if he was ok with me in just my briefs because I didn't want to put on shorts and a t shirt just to take them off in 10 minutes. He was cool with it. We were on the 2nd floor and girls lived on the first. We were all great friends. There was a stairway in the back of the house connecting the two floors. Even when being quiet you could hear what was being said on the other floor . one of the girls told me that my roommate came down and informed them if they heard us talking after ten I'd definitely be in colored briefs and one or more of them should sneak up the stairs, walk in to embarass me. It would have been mortifying and hilarious but harmless. . They decided against it He was a great guy and not vindictive. He just wanted the whole house to get a good laugh.
