Australian Thongers

Post by Thongmad »

There's a few Australian thongers on this site from what I can gather, so which part of our sunburnt country are you all from?

I live on the glorious East Coast of NSW, around the Newcastle area. So Newcastle, Central Coast, Port Stephens are my back yard.
Newcastle Ocean Baths is a favorite spot of mine, as is One Mile and Samurai Beach, and Shoal Bay in Port Stephens. I do go to Birdie Beach occasionally as well for a long beach walk in my thongs.

I know it's getting a bit cool right now, but we should line up a beach day or two in the next season.

So add your comment below, and let everyone know where you're from.

I'd be happy to line up something anytime, be it a beach day for a gathering, or just discretely knowing there will be others in the same location as you on a given day. It would be awesome to have a whole bunch of guys in thongs/g-strings turn up at a location on the same day, even without interaction with each other, just to push the acceptance that we are ok to this whenever or wherever we want to. The sales of male thongs suggests it will work.

Who knows, it might catch on...

What a ripper of an idea!
I’m from Perth but have been in Melbourne for the past 8 years, it’s a bit cooler down here for sure!
I’ve never been to Newcastle in NSW, I have been to the one in England 😆😆😆

I’ll be on holiday down to Venus Bay next week and will definitely be wearing a G-string on the beach, yes, I know it’s freezing but we have this family thing about swimming on the winter solstice, crazy I know, but…..
Love the idea of us all supporting each other!

I'm Melbourne based very cold down here at the moment. I am not a thonger on the beach yet. Who know one day.

I’m off to Inverloch next week, I’ll definitely take a cold water swim while in there, in a thong of course 🤣🤣

21st June is the Winter Solstice - there's a few cold water swims around the country to acknowledge it, including one in Tasmania

I'm also from NSW, South West Sydney. I like going to Bundeena, La Perouse, Congwong, little Congwong
and sometimes to Cronulla. I'm not a fan of Bondi and think it's over rated, over crowded and is sub par when compared to the vast array of beautiful beaches here in NSW.
As a fellow Ozzie, I'm usually wearing a thong or gstring at the beach and there are not too many fellas that do. At times I've been the only one wearing a thong, though there are a few people wearing swim briefs.
I think it's a great idea to line up a day or two for a beach meet n greet or what ever. Even just being in attendance (discreetly) knowing others will be there in similar beach attire would be awesome, especially for those that choose to go at it alone and are a bit nervous to do so.
I'd definately sign up for it and atleast I'm not the only one in a thong or gstring at the beach :)

Excellent idea, luv it. Northern beaches Sydney is my backyard. Mona Vale is closest, but hey anywhere between Manly and Palm Beach is good. Definitely too cold for me. Big wuss, water temp gotta be over 25 degrees before I get in it! This summer let's go! :D
