Comfortable and affordable thongs

Hi everyone, first time poster here :D

Was looking for new options but everything out there is pricey and I’m trying to find a good deal on some comfortable items. Any recommendations on brands or deals that won’t break the bank but also provide good comfort and support?

Additionally if you have any recommendations for running especially that’d be cool. I see a lot of cotton options and am looking for something with a bit more moisture wicking to deal with sweat

Thanks for any and all input!

You are right they can be pricey! I like Obviously Apparel but yes they are au$27 a pair! I have been very happy with these iKingsky from Amazon https://amzn.asia/d/hYYkeUu I have been wearing them as my daily were since getting them and am loving them. At au$4.40 a pair that is way more affordable.

Hey, welcome to the forum. You are in the right place to find some amazing thongs at reasonable prices. Expensive doesn’t always mean they are the best. I like the iKingsky brand, it can be bought at Amazon - I personally have the camo 4 pack, wear them to the gym to work out in and they are terrific. Jockeys new thong is a 3 pack, and actually is a good thong but has a bit more material than some like. My personal favorites are the JM thong, JM.ca is the website. Sometimes they run sales and can go for around $15 each but they are great quality and very comfortable.

I'm a retired marathon runner due to achilles tendon surgery. There isn't much out there for reasonably priced athletic thong underwear. Aswemove is pricey but is designed for sports. I recommend searching womens sport thongs, and look for seamless stitching to reduce chaffing. Nike, Under Armour and other big brands make womens sports thongs. Otherwise as I was recommended, go with the lined running shorts (sorry, they're pretty much built on briefs and I personally hated them).

I second the new jockey 3 pack as well. You can get them on sale on Amazon or Target today for $27 instead of the normal $36. Jockey has a 30 percent off sale on their website but you need to spend $100 to get it. The sport stability pouch thong is also on sale for most of their colors for $9.99

I also second the JM thongs, preferably the Natura ones. They're only being sold in black and white. I bought the skinz ones back in 2018 and those are great good stretch, comfort and support. I bought a new pair in 2023 but they seemed to have changed the material they're using now and it feels a lot heavier, so not the most comfortable wear for extended periods. The old ones felt a lot more lightweight
@David_NC have you encountered that with any new JM skinz thongs you picked up recently?

I do love some expensive thongs like Gregg Homme, but the majority of my things and G-strings come from AliExpress, they quality is pretty good and the price is right (just a few $ ). The only downside is they take a few weeks to arrive.

chasing22 wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 7:31 pm Hey chasing22, I have one JM Natura thong, in black it isn't a top pick for me because it has more cotton than the skinz model. I have all current 13 colors of the JM skins line and love them. However, I have noticed some inconsistency but I felt it was due to the color. I bought my first JM thongs around 2021 and they were great, so I completed the color spectrum in 2023 - I don't remember which colors I bought in each purchase so the differences I was thinking was due to color might have been due to when they were sewed and by who. They are still great to wear, some are jut a bit more snug that others.

I would ad MeUndies to this list. They are great for all day wear and can be reasonably priced. I just wish they made them in different materials than their modal.

finding good thongs for everyday wear is not easy. it depends on how much you are used to wearing them. my favorite thong for men is the calvin klein one, it has good support for the genitals, the back is quite thin leaving most of the butt exposed. it is a great thong, i wear it to go to college but also to work.

another favorite thong of mine that I recommend especially for warmer weather is the G string by 2(x)ist. the back is Y-shaped and made of thin thread. I like it because it gives the feeling of having your bottom uncovered but it can be a little uncomfortable at first.

for sports I still haven't found a men's thong that I like.
