First Time seeing Colored Underwear

Growing up I only wore white briefs and thought everyone did until Middle School. I remember changing for PE in 6th grade and seeing a classmate in black Hanes briefs. What about you if you only wore white?

I think here in Aus all mine were coloured. I am 54 can't recall wearing thightie whities at all until adulthood and a short stint giving them a go. I recall my favourites as a teen being I think a bonds multi pack of neon coloured (pink, orange, yellow) string bikinis and I am sure my mum bought them for me.

Until I started making my own money all my underwear as a child was the basic boring white briefs that my mother bought. I remember seeing advertisements for colorful bikini style men’s underwear and wanting them. I was about 14/15 years old. As soon as I could find an excuse to go to a store that carried that style I bought them and had to hide them from my mother. She thought colorful men’s underwear was not appropriate for men. As soon as I left home for college I bought thongs and the rest is history.

My mom thought it was wrong for men to wear colored briefs….even though my dad had colored boxers with even stripes and prints!!

Until I was 12 years old, and discovered that 14 year-old cousin wore bikini underwear of different colors, I just assumed that all men and boys wore white, full-cut white Y-front briefs. I never imagined that men could wear anything else!

Seeing in person? Probably 8th grade...by 9th I was wearing bikinis full time!

It would have to been when I was in the 6th grade….a friend wore black Hanes Briefs!

I wasn’t allowed colored briefs but I saw them on others around 7th grade I think.
