Teenage years. Any color but white. Was it a confidence boost??

Did any of you find during your teen years wearing any style underwear that was not white a huge self esteem, body image, confidence boost?? When I looked in the mirror in my sky blue bikini briefs or blue ,red or black low rise Spalding briefs with the name Spalding on the waistband I felt like I owned the world and was the best looking thing in the world. Some of it I'm sure was teen hormones but did any of you guys feel the same way? This was in the early 1990s when colored underwear was not common like today

Wish I could have….only wore white Hanes or FTL ribbed whites!!!!

Wow, yes!
Parentally supplied whites were supplemented by my choice of coloured/patterned to liven up the changing room. This was the 70's though, and differences - though rare - were ignored.
