Took the plunge, and got my vintage tube of elance

I mentioned in an earlier post that I pulled the trigger and overpaid on eBay for some vintage jockey elance bikinis. They were still new in the original tube, the pairs are white with various blue stripes and polkadots. Other than the tiger stripes, this was my favorite pattern jockey offered. A far cry from the colors available today.

I wish I could share a picture, because I’m sure it would bring back memories for many people.

I was apprehensive to spend the money, as I usually am pretty thrifty with underwear, but it was well worth it.

I started wearing this underwear in junior high and high school. It’s been a rush of very intense and erotic memories. I can remember being a teen and holding these plastic tubes in my hand at the store. I can still feel the tingling in my chest. A mix of feeling sexy, and like I was a grown-up man, but also my heart racing and a bit of embarrassment handing the packages of tiny bikinis to a cashier back then.

It took quite a while to get used to wearing such skimpy underwear. The mix of teenage hormones, and the lack of pouch in the elance style could easily result in popping out the top or needing to adjust throughout the day. But ultimately, I stuck with it. Today’s pouches are much more roomy.

The vintage fabric is fragile, and I don’t know how often I’ll wear them. But wearing them for some special occasions and intimate moments has been really exciting.

Does anyone have a similar experience, buying a pair from childhood?

Not buying but being given as a gift a white and light blue pair from my sister and her boyfriend when I was a high school junior. You read that right. True story. Look at my other posts. It was a rush of excitement, apprehension and fear. It would have been rude to say no I won't wear them. I was apprehensive they would not fit or be uncomfortable or look bad on me and I feared my mom or friends would pick on me. After all let's face it. Nothing is hidden with bikini briefs. They are very revealing with the thin fabric They fit perfect and were so comfortable and they looked good especially the blue one Mom was cool with them and didn't have a fit. My friends in the locker room were cool with them. One even said they looked good. I was one of the lucky ones. My mom was cool with me wearing bikini briefs and she even bought me a 3 pack of colored low rise briefs. I see so many posts here about moms and family members having fits about bikinis or colored underwear. I guess I was lucky. Lol
