So I have been dabbling in bikinis for some time, and a solid black bikini doesn't really cause a stir. Sure, it's not the mass-issued boxer briefs of today, but no one really bats an eye at it in the locker room or anywhere like that. However, I recently got brave enough to re-approach my fascination with men's thongs that started when I was a kid.
I have a male massage therapist that I see regularly. Super cool guy, totally straight (as far as I know), and does a great job. I typically keep a pair of underwear on while getting a massage so I can get some passive stretching. Today, instead of my usual Calvin Klein brief or a bikini, I went for a solid black thong. I was SO terrified, and my mind was racing with all the possible outcomes. I pushed through the fear, got onto the table and under the sheet, and just waited.
We're very familiar with each other at this point and isn't quite as obsessive with draping me throughout the massage, so he obviously sees my thong at some point. The massage continued on without comment. He even massaged my glutes (as I typically complain about because of the gym). Afterwards, as I was getting dressed, he actually commented that he preferred when his clients wore thongs.
Huge sigh of relief. We had a little laugh about it. Next hurdle: dating women while wearing thongs.

That's awesome! I'm a former massage therapist and wish that more of my male clients would have worn thongs instead of boxers or jammers. It's so much easier to do glute massage and passive stretching with only a thong on. Good for you that your massage therapist is in favor of it! Keep building your confidence wearing thongs!

That's great to hear! My first gstring was specifically for massages. I prefer fully nude but some places near me are particular about it. Glad to hear that your confidence is up!

I was getting jeans at the store. The women mid 40s who was helping asked if I knew my size. I said no and she said turn around I’ll check the waist band. When she flipped the waist band the back of my Calvin Klein thong definitely showed. When I was walking to the dressing room she commented I had nice underwear on and winked. She started asking questions about how long and often I was wearing thongs. I told her exclusively for 2 years. And how they are great for support and comfort. She started telling me how that’s all she wears and wishes more men wore thongs. She Said it is just underwear and that there is nothing to be ashamed about.
