This probably doesn’t really matter and maybe it’s been covered by another topic but I’m interested in the percentage of gay v straight members and the type of underwear they prefer.

For me I’m a gay 40 year old Irish guy. Love slip briefs, yfronts and tangas. Occasionally a jockstrap but prob more of a sexual item.
Always been a big briefs fan but did spend an uncomfortable few years in boxers as I was worried about seeming too gay if I wore briefs. It was the late 90s and 2000s so a less accepting time but now couldn’t care if anyone sees me in my yfronts. I do love a man in yfronts or slips.

Straight - I've worn all types of underwear, but since 2020 my personal preference is a thong. It is ironic that you, a gay man, were worried about being too gay if you wore briefs. And the first three replies are straight men in thongs. I have an IG buddy, he is gay has 1,000 plus thongs and has said it is difficult for him to find dates, because the men he is attracted to, when they see he wears thongs find it to gay. So is the issue just that men are to worried what other men will think of them?? I know I am self-conscious but I still like my thongs best. Straight and married here. I wear mostly thongs, but also tangas and occasionally g strings. I've never tried a jockstrap. Also swim in briefs, whether at the lap pool or on the beach.

I am straight but I do enjoy watching some gay porn too, and always found it funny that gay men rarely wear thongs in porn, unless you look at trans porn, some of the 'twink' stuff, or femdom stuff. Same here. I love thongs and g-strings. Been wearing them since I was 16 years old from swimming. Prefer brands at this time cocksox, n2n, skinzswimwear and manstore. But during winter I wear skimpy trunk and feels like your not wearing anything thinskinz.
