I often attempt to connect w/ others finding more in my age range ( 18 to 30'S ) I often get awkward or non-relative acquaintances: elder, married,& typically outside what I find is uneasy social similar like minded different outlook groups that don't last too long, leaving me to end up feeling alone.

So I am 32 yrs old, and choose to wear low rise hip briefs, bikini briefs, & more thongs on a routine bases.

I'm 46, so not in the age range your looking for. I didn't really venture out into skimpier underwear styles until I was mid-30s. And I didn't try thongs until my early 40s. I wonder if it's harder to find and connect with younger guys who wear thongs and bikinis because younger men tend to follow the current trends in underwear and clothing in general. That's mostly going to be boxer briefs right now. I think it takes some age and maturity for men to gain the confidence to find their own styles. I know that's been my case. Also with swimwear, I wouldn't have dared to wear a swim brief in my teens or 20s, but now I do it all the time.

I understand, definitely a self esteem crushing journey being introvert, and giving self the daily look in the mirror all while knowing how the mental of others, especially close to you will be ready to put you down if caught over telling them without a care for social opinion. As far as the open social group, while continuing to hide in my small comfort zone. 8/9 chances will constantly feel the token guy around years of socializing, looked down as a submissive sissy.

I am very not active here but I am a french student, I am 23 years old and I wear thongs occasionally since 2 years. I have the same feeling as you, I want to find a thonger at my age but except for cross dressers, it is difficult to find out, I think it's because people at my age are scared to say that they wear thongs because of these stereotypes, but I hope that one day it will be normalize.

I would like to welcome you to the Forum! As you settle in and have a chance to read the posts, you will find that we are a very welcoming and diverse group of guys (straight, gay and bi), who enjoy the comfort, support (and, YES, sexiness!!!) of microwear for both underwear and swimwear. I was 23 once (50 years ago! ), and this is what I wish to say to you: wear WHAT you want, WHEN you want, and do NOT be concerned about whether something is "normal" or not. Don't obsess about "trends!" I'm going to assume that you wear your thongs as underwear. Please tell me how anybody else will know what you are wearing underneath your clothes!! Unless you are changing in the locker room, for example, no one else can see your thong! And if that happens, so what? Who knows, there might be other guys wearing them, too, and this may be the start of having a thonger friend. Or another guy may ask you your opinion of a thong's fit and support. If you are self-confident and fulfilled in your sexuality, you will find that your microwear can be a holistic part of how you express yourself in intimate situations. A man's choice of microwear does NOT determine his sexuality! Do NOT...repeat, DO NOT let the insanity of "trends" dictate what YOU enjoy! (Believe me, in my lifetime so far, I've seen quite a few "howlers" that went down faster than the "Titanic.") Looking forward to the day that you can " report in" as a "full-time thonger!!"
