I'm a straight-male that loves wearing thongs and have been wearing them since the 80's. I'm almost 51 years young and always been fascinated with the style. I recently summoned up the courage to wear one in public, a dream that has been fulfilled after decades of thinking about it. I been doing keto for several months and lost a lot a weight and it helped my confidence. However, I'm not into body-shaming either. Wear what you want and rock it out, regardless of style. Wear what makes you happy, this is the beach. I find most beach people to be very chill and nonjudgemental. I love how thongs look and feel. Plus they look great on ladies but no hate to you guys either.
You can find me at Ft. Desoto Beach in FL. However, don't ask me for a meetup, just not my thing. I love the beach, love meeting people, love meeting fellow peeps who wear thongs, but the beach is also my solitude and zen. But if you see me out there, please say, "Hi". If you are not familiar with the beach, there is a thong-friendly area and I have met lots of folks out there and have become a regular. I love walking the beach in my thong and swimming. It feels so liberating. Though nudity is not allowed you will get lucky from time to time and see topless women usually in a thong too.

Welcome to the forum gregtomo! I think you will be in good company here. I am also a straight male (45yo) that likes thongs. I wear thong underwear but not swim thongs. For the beach and pool I am always in a swim brief. Sporti is my favorite brand and I frequently wear their Euro briefs. Congratulations on fulfilling your dream of wearing a thong to the beach. I live in south Alabama on the Gulf Coast and there are spectacular beaches about an hour away from me. We particularly like to visit the FL panhandle beaches. But there are very few beach areas secluded enough to wear thongs on beaches where families and children are not around.

Thanks for greetings. Hopefully sooner and later thongs would be accepted more for us guys. With the ladies, they are everywhere at any beach in FL. I have a personal rule right now about being in front of kids, I don't feel comfortable. Adults, I don't care.

Welcome to the group, I'm 43 so I'm catching up to you lol, and wear thongs nearly every day. I will occasionally mix in a bikini, but then feel like something is wrong. I do own a few swim thongs, but have never worn them in public, just own them and they sit in a box in the closet. I just followed you on IG and you have a great collection of swim thong. Which one(s) are your favorite?

Welcome - I like both of those brands. I am more of a thong underwear guy and swim briefs on the beach. Like swimmer78 I’m also a sporti fan and have a lot of them. Maybe one day I’ll consistently wear a thong on the beach but that will be a while I think.

In this social media world, I often go by Kai. I don't often get those rand nicknames, I proudly, and excitingly claim from others close to me or friends that grab my instant attention of supreme likingness to.
So I took upon myself to use from things I enjoy/'ed:
-A few things I have a random nonpublic & non-profession associated; I'm in love with culture
○ (Japanese is by far my favorite (obsession),
○ Computer/ Tech is like my easy go to[I definitely just need the patience and focus to wait to make a career out of it with all my life distractions),
○ and with getting older and being as anti-socially distant, as to me feeling save and peace when I'm constantly hovered uncomfortably I have an insane love for the comfort in my underwear { W/ love for the Japanese culture and all anime, involving action: Naruto, One Piece and so on. To mature anime with harems and small fit body chicks | with my dream to have a wife of age that can look similar}
There is definitely more I can explain, as I've tried to to sit and explain to those who say they want to listen, but not even a family member as the patience and understanding of my complex mind. I become the family of 6 household back door mat for the dog on its day of getting punished in the middle of the night for not letting it be known somehow dropped a load (runny load ) right in front of the bedroom do and the owner had a dark bathroom trip - forced unpaid therapist ventriloquist. And always at the worst, inconvenient times. All with dirt for consideration or respect. Or as much as no one will really read all of this as to I pre wrote on a document to possibly not rush through writing this for the world I blog like expressing and exposure to humiliations embarrassment.
So if our still here, I appreciate you more than any soul that will say there is no judgment but always judge others when its stranger. Trolling as if breaking news that you catch at 11pm to the re-runs that play till the weather is broadcasted for the world to know and not forget.
I am a 32 y.o. male about 5'8" ( a slight bit insecure about myself; though from my few past ex gfs. I am told I am hot and my features are perfect enough to not worry about.) That only last till I'm told I'm someone they can't be with. Conversation via Pm late when asked.
1. Japanese culture:
As a kid that was always to himself. Had a love for cartoons that I grew out of as the characters today still haven't aged Still my inner child has a love for anime. I was unaware for a while ( growing up, watching antenna television to the visit at grandmother's ) after only having a fanatic fascination to hope, dream and want the entire life of Batman. I came into one of those home alone weekends, where I was able to stay up all night lay around in my Batman, collection of briefs not knowing the feeling of embarrassment, came to one of those late nights of Inuyasha. Of course there was Pokemon, Yugioh, DB/ DBZ. I came to liking the love story and adventure type with the wishes to have the same type of relationship.

I spent 6 years planning and learning how to speak, write and read (as a still beginners knowledge - is still a complicated. Still enough to move around if I'm going to be alone as I am now.)
2. Next, I am pretty intelligent. When I gained a sense to care a bit more and I started to get a little social. Making it to middle school and getting the experience of having to be more public; especially getting more into sports , joining a bit of advance courses and groups. I acquire a random fascination for computers. It wasn't a big thing in my family. As my father died when I was 1, no one as far as the women of the household, were computer literate, or had the care or need for tech ( still in the age of of 2ways and house phones ) The first time I had touch a CPU I occasionally Ended up in classroom course learning more about computers. Now I wasn't the type to see something I liked and want so its like it came to me. No matter what, I touched a PC was graded, and as I was at least a 3.6 + grade average student, Up to now if I was taking courses or go back to complete degree in Information Tech. Those I have quite a bit of knowledge on the matter. With the experience of HVAC while I did some (subliminal keeping the actual task to myself I don't want to give away complete who I am making it too easy to find me anywhere by know how I completely look) I now work one CNC machines using programs to make medical parts and or tools, with a bit of aerospace if asked. I'm back in pursuit of getting into the IT field. I'm tired of working for people who can be a boss cause of networking. With no skills. The con on me and why I'm so slow and unfocused to keep the disciplines much as I rather work from home or on the go if need be for less hours and a ton load more money. Then having the time to use my other past expertise as hobbies, almost making a universal company of my own.
3. Now to wrap this up. My dark secret kind of ties into her last two things. So as I mentioned about growing up without a male figure to feel the concept of I'm going be just like and learn the norm of self and the conscience with the fear of building these God like Judges and a lifetime to not live as it can be ignored.
I was comfortable wearing briefs. I had my few share time of trying boxer, but me being on the tiny kid side and minimal interaction with girls beside my neighbors playing house; not knowing or getting far into being naughty till H.S. I was never judge or told about being a briefs man. Everyone sagged and wore boxers I didn't try to let myself be notice or exposed. Even while playing football and being n the locker rooms. I would use a stall in the bathroom. Or wait till nearly everyone rushed home when the day was over, in all cases, shorts or some type of compression under just not be seen by dudes who would end up ruin my chances talking to some girls. Now as I was at the age of no more school shopping. I traveled and studied, I finally got to go shopping on a high side away from Hanes/ FTL.
Low Rise hip briefs underwear like CK, and to keep this short to end this. About 7 years I grew to accept Bikini briefs and then thong. Once I got past being seen by someone I know .
Now to bring this to a conclusion.
I am a straight, West Coast black male who has a love for small lighter side skin complexion. And underwear on the smaller skimpy micro side.
