How exactly would I go about having a whale tail in the best way possible?

Just pull it higher than your pants. Get the sides up over your hips.

I guess it's my build or something but it frequently happens to me when wearing thongs, just by wearing them. A little full in the caboose area and a little loose around the waist and yes, at least the thongs I have ride as high as or higher than the bikinis I normally wear.

Certain thongs also sit higher on your waist naturally. I’ve found the more traditional thongs with the full triangle in the back are more high rise and could result in a whale tail.

I am an engineering student, and I am currently taking a surveying course. I have to go out on the field everyday and get measurements. This means I have to bend down or squat a lot to get the measurements. This week was the first week, so I tried to be discreet. But, I might try to get some whaletailing in the final week.

Anytime I see one of those prank videos on youtube where a guy bends over to reveal a thong, the thong is invariably very feminine looking i.e lacy, which gives the false impression that guys wear women's undies.Perhaps if the thong was camo it wouldn't have the same negative effect.

Those pranksters are doing whaletail videos for shits and giggles. I wouldn't take them too seriously.
