How did you discover men’s thongs?

I took several times to work up the nerve to actually buy one. I tried to go to stores where I was sure nobody (worker or shopper) would know me. Looking back, I'm not sure why I was so nervous. I've been a full-time thong wearer for 25+ years now.

Yeah I remember sneaking around like that, seeing if the coast was clear, rushing to the register and getting away "scott free", when I got my first thongs. Now, I don't care (well, not much ). More men thongers around now (and more mens thongs and styles, too). My wish is being able to buy mens thongs everywhere.....

This makes me think of another story that is funny to me now but in the moment was a bit embarrassing. Years ago when I was just starting to buy and wear swim thongs, I had just discovered Skinz on the internet. I had already purchased two or three suits from them to see the quality and fit/sizing. When I decided I really liked them I placed a pretty large order of a variety of suits of different coverages. Maybe like 10-12 suits. (Yes I went a bit overboard in my excitement). Anyways I had just moved into a new townhome when I placed this order and hadn’t met any neighbors yet even. This was back when UPS wouldn’t leave a package at your door but they would leave it with a neighbor if they agreed to give it to you. Well one day there’s a knock on the door and it’s the woman from next door with my package from Skinz. She handed it to me, telling me that UPS left it with her. But she definitely had a bit of a smirk on her face. I could only assume she saw the return address and must have looked up what the company was. LOL.

This is always a fear of mine, that my newly underwear will end up at my neighbors house. We sometimes get each others mail and are prompt to return it, but I always worry mine will get put in some ones mailbox.

The first time I saw men's thong was at Clearwater Beach in the late 80s. I was at the beach and I started to notice men in thongs along with ladies. Back in those days it was a huge deal to wear this skimpy swim wear in public. Everyone I saw in a thong look like they were enjoying themself. I admired their confidence and I especially loved seeing the ladies in thongs. It got so popular that it made national news about thongs at Clearwater Beach to the point it made it on talk shows, news, etc. The city decided to ban them and I think to this day the law is in place but not enforced anymore. At Sport's Authority they had men's thongs on the racks. I always admired this style but never had the confidence until last summer to wear a thong to the beach. I'm glad there is a normalization of thongs for everyone.

Hey, just saw I never answered the question.....
....Frederick's of Hollywood...(what a blast from the past)...wow, didn't know men wear thongs too? And it still felt weird (wrong?).....

Finally got over the weirdness and started wearing 'em. Got a few generic ones online (and worked up the nerve to get some in shops). All downhill from there, now it's all I wear (well, gstrings mostly).

She was picking out some new undies in the Women’s Dept saw her pick up a purple lace thong and hold it up. I was so intrigued so I asked her if thongs were comfortable. She replied with yes and could see the curiosity in my eyes. Follow me she said and brought me to the men’s underwear section. She picked up a 3 pack of the Joe boxer men’s thongs, handed them to me and said try these if you like them we will get you more. Checking out the girl at the register gave a smirk when scanning them. I tried them on when I got home and the rest was history. I haven’t worn anything but thongs for 22 years now. Thanks Mom

As long as I can remember I’ve had a fascination for (tiny) swimwear worn by both men and woman. Since the early days of internet I searched for swimwear pictures and found every now and then a guy in thong.
Since my bikini swimwear got a little smaller with every new suit I bought, I also got more and more curious how it would feel to wear a thong myself. Then I found Dore’s (beachndance) web-site. After a lot of visits to her site and a few emails to her, I ordered a ‘moderate cut thong’ in navy blue. This suit was the source of inspitation for my nick-name.
As soon as the suit arrived, I tried it on. From that moment on I was a male thonger. I orderd quite a few thongs from Dore. Later on I switched to Muscleskins and Skinzwear. Since 6 years I’m a regular buyer at iSwim from Taiwan.

So jealous ! My story could have been similar but I chickend out ! Did you mom ever mention it ?

Here's my story, I think I was 11 when I started trying my sister clothes and underwear in secret. But she wore very boyish clothes and boring panties so nothing really interesting but I loved her one piece swimsuit. Once I got to try my cousin dress that was pretty exciting and I dreamed about it for months after Then my sister bought a baby blue and orange string bikini with ruffle on the front which was so out of character for here, it wasn't very confortable and I was worried I would stretch it out but I still wore it a least once to school

I think I then saw my first thong when I was 13, it was still a pretty rare sight but soon enough I was dreaming about trying one ! And hunting my sister pantie drawer weekly in hope but it never happened.
When I was 14 or 15 we went to walmart with my mom and shopped for underwear. I think it was the first time I saw male thongs in store and was dying to try it but I was to shy to ask my mom and I regretted it for yearrrrrrrs, opportunity never once rehappenned.

It took another 2-3year for my first 2 thongs that I stole from a friend sister. I went to the bathroom and they were in plain sight, couldn't resist and stole 2, I was probably 16 ! They were a bit big and didn't fit well so I mostly wore them to jerk then post nut clarity hit and I would feel wierd :p A year later I stole one from the same guy girlfriend and it fit much better and I think I started wearing them full day more often.

Then I ordered a few joe snyder online and remember receiving it as I was about to drive my brother somewhere, so I rushed back in and put it on right away. It was such a thrill

From there I started slowly buying them online and stealing a few more, wearing them more often and I was probably 21 when I threw away all my boxer and started wearing them full time ! 90% female thong but still wore boxers for sports and whenever I'd have to change.

Now I'm 36 and still loving it, recently I've been wearing them full time for sports, massage, changing room, even once to the spa and the beach, with a few bodysuit in the mix ! A couple years ago I also left a thong in the washer which my mom folded with my stuff but nothing was said about it, I damn wish I add taken that one from walmart she probably wouldn't have cared

Our stories (and tastes) are very similar. We're about the same age, I think, so we probably had similar experiences looking at whale tails in high school, secretly longing to actually wear those flirty thongs ourselves.
