I wear these or similar at my local pool, and nobody seems to bat an eyelid. If anyone asked me, I'd say i wear them because they are so comfortable, and much better than swimming with a gallon of water inside a pair of boardies! The fact that I have a nice peachy bubble bottom is another reason!
Delabole I admire your confidence. But I'm afraid if I wore a swim thong at a pool in my area the cops would be called lol. Plus I don't have a nice bubble butt. Wondering what type of pool you go to and what part of the world your in?

I recently added a new accessory to my beach kit. Two months ago I discovered a thongers pride flag on Etsy. It’s black and white with the image of the bottom half of a man wearing a thong. I’ve been clipping it to my beach umbrella when I am at the beach. It has been a bit of an experiment to see what the reaction would be. So far I’ve had a few positive comments about the flag. It definitely lets people know there is a proud thong wearer here. Of course I’m wearing a swim thong out in the open on a very public beach and have been wearing a swim thong for years. The other thing I’ve noticed is there are more women in cheeky and thong bikinis setting up nearby.

ThongBum wrote: Fri Jul 21, 2023 3:31 am I haven’t gathered the courage to do it yet. I own a few swim thongs and even just ordered a new one from Cocksox. But I’ve never worn them in public. Just as underwear or for tanning in a tanning bed or booth.

I started out wearing swim briefs as a kid, then switched to board shorts after getting made fun of at the beach when I was about 13 or 14. That was not a pleasant experience, especially at that age.

And the quietest local beach doesn’t allow thongs so that complicates things.
Find a place where nobody knows you and go for it. Act normal. Smile and say hello to people. No one will mind or make fun of you. If the place doesn't allow thongs, wear a rio or tanga instead. Enjoy!

This summer I migrated from full-coverage to Brazilian to Rio. And even at that I'm pulling down from the top and in from the sides to get more exposure. This all at the expense of crescent moon sunburns. Next summer I think I'm going to start with thongs and be done with it.

Interesting day at the beach. I met a friend and got set up early. We had our place set with no one near us. She was wearing a very cheeky bikini and I was in a thong as usual. Soon enough we had a mother with four children set up right in front of us. Then another mother with three children set up next to them. By the time the hour was over we had two more families with young children set up very near us. There was no mistake they knew we we both wearing minimal swimwear. Not one of them batted an eye, seemed to care or be bothered by our swimwear choice. By the end of the day we had a few pleasant conversations with those near us. Once again it proves if you are confident, act like you belong, and be friendly and smile those around you don’t seem to take much notice of thong wearing.

I am from the UK and can’t imagine wearing the Skinz suit you mention in a UK public pool, yes I wear micro G Strings abroad on beaches or hotel pools and UK hotel pools , The most daring UK public pool swimwear I have worn are Modus Vivendi swim thong with tie waistband and Ergowear X4D thong again with tie waistband at the London Fields Lido which is a heated 50m open air pool.
Which pool do you go to ? Would love to try it .

Which hotel? I'm from the South West and looking to push on from a brief to a thing when swimming at my local public pools in Exeter and Exmouth. Be good to hear more of your experiences in the South West...and local beaches too?

I don't mind telling you - it's in Cornwall - but I don't want to publicise the exact location. You could PM me.
