How did you discover men’s thongs?

Love reading some of these accounts. When I was married, thongs were not a 'thing' for men. However, I know she loved me in skimpier gear, so I'm sure there would not have been any disapproval. The introduction to thongs for me was actually a fellow underbuddy who wanted me to at least try them. He sent me a couple of his extras. I'm not solely a thong wearer, but they are in my rotation. I try wearing a thong on a whim a couple years back, and I was not a fan back then (could get use to having something between my butt cheeks). Couple weeks ago, I again tried it on a whim, but this time I was like WOW. Couple things I discover this time around:

- I do not think there is a more comfortable cut of underwear to sit in all day. There is no clothing that would bunches up as you sit in office chair, car seat, or air plane seat for an long duration. And you definitely feel cooler in your legs and bottom side with the less clothing.

- I have discovered my favorite time to wear a thong is after a work out to help cool off.

Have you tried the Nu c-in2 line? I think they have a nicer fit than the Minimal ones.

I have the Nu line in a dash brief/sport brief cut. Because the Nu line has the smallest waist line, it’s basically a string bikini. In my humble opinion, the modal/elastane fabric (Minimal) is softer and more comfortable than modal/cotton/elastane fabric (Nu). In the end, I do no think you can go with any CIN2 product.

Hey, great to know that you are starting to like thongs.
I also agree that thongs are great to sit in all day. When I wear underwear with more coverage, I have to pick the fabric out of my ass because it would stick to the skin. I do not have to do this with thongs.

I think discovering men's thongs was by chance for me when I was shopping for plus sized bikini briefs online when you type "bikini briefs" then the classic click-bait words of "gay bikini underwear bikini thong" taglines come out in amazon or aliexpress. I guess that's how I found out about it and looked into it. I got curious you can say. Now even if to some degree I knew that men's thongs existed in the past I was also stigmatized into thinking they were for gay men due to Singaporean culture. Department stores in Singapore doesnt have a short supply of boxer briefs and bikini briefs particularly those two styles but no thongs whatsoever. When I was a lot younger, boys only wore tighty whighties, boxer briefs, or colored bikini briefs/slips. So I guess seeing a thong for the first time was a weird experience since this really isnt common in Singapore. Anyway, buying them for the first time was nerve-wracking because I didnt know if they will fit and what will happen if someone were to see me. Putting them on though was a different story, for me it felt freeing and gave me a better figure for like longer legs and a more visible package.

I know this is about discovering thongs, but I also just discovered this board and am excited to chat with other like-minded people!

My first introduction to thongs was seeing one on a guy in one of my brother's girlie magazines. I was probably in junior high at the time but knew I had to try one! Sometime not long after that, I discovered that our local JC Penney had mens thong underwear, so one day I rode my bike over there and bought a pair. I was hooked. As I got older, I started buying more and more, although I kept them secret from everyone. Once I got out of college, I shared an apartment with my brother for awhile. The internet was just getting started, so the main way to order things was from a catalog. I couldn't have random packages and catalogs show up and cause a bunch of questions, so I opened a PO box just for that purpose. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Koala and Undergear and a few others too. My brother soon got married and moved out, and I had already transitioned to thongs every day by then. Today I own hundreds (between swim and underwear) and am always looking for more!

I discovered them when I was 15 yo. I was staying the weekend with a friend and didn’t pack much and of course forgot underwear. Don’t realize until about to shower and I told me friend and he offered to give me pair of his boxer briefs but they were too big as he wore large and his dad offered me some boxers but they wore same size. They asked what size I wore and said medium and they suggested I go pick out a pair from my friend’s older brother who was 19 at the time and that he was away anyway wouldn’t mind. I said okay he took me to room and told me to grab a pair for tonight and I did. I looked and I saw some Armani trunks which were nice and some boss underwear too and I almost grabbed those until I saw in the back of the drawer in a white, baby blue , and black CK thong. (Which I know now was their platinum collection.) I remember just being amazed at them and really wanted to try it. My friend came in and asked if found a pair and I said actually yes showing them to him the white pair thong. He said “ oh yeah man sorry my brother actually wears some of those every now and then. I don’t know why he likes them… I think they are weird.” All I could think was weird that so cool and different snd then he said why you want to wear them. I said yeah kinda and he said well it’s not my ass it’s yours but ask my dad first and I asked him and he surprised me by saying if you want as long as I don’t have too… then I boldly asked if he would just sleep in it and his dad said I don’t mind if y’all sleep in underwear just don’t want to see you in that and my friend was like yeah don’t get close to me wearing that.
