Thongs are easily the best choice for underwear and sports. I wear them for several including cycling, running, basketball, tennis, golf, etc. I really only don’t use them for swimming as I wear a swim briefs for that.

I have a couple 'sport thongs' that I wear when working out. I love the support they provide.
I cycle a lot too but don't wear any underwear underneath my bike shorts

What kind of thong do you recommend for training and running?

I wear panties all the time. To the gym to work out and to play sports.
I like Lu Lu Lemon or Fruit of the loom thongs for sports and relaxing
I like sexy lace for around the house and going out.
Yes I change in locker room. Got many looks.
Got a few comments. I would respond they are very comfy and women look sexy. So so can I.
2 guys wore panties also. BOth straight. We would stand and talk. The few gay guys would say hi. They walked around in lace panties.

I lift, core work, etc, and I wear Doreanse string thongs under my workout tights. I prefer them over other brands. Heck, I wear the doreanse hiking, fishing you, name it. I slso have a Kyle micro string thong that is super comfy and sexy - that is super comfy too! It’s proof that micro wear can be more comfortable.

I got into thongs because of wrestling. I was a huge WWE fan as a kid, and Trish Stratus was my celebrity crush. I got to know about thongs because Trish Stratus was stripped down to her thong in a Bra and Panties match. That was the discovery. Then, I saw Kurt Angle in a g-string, and I thought to myself, 'I need to try one of those'. The rest is history.

I will say I used to be a cyclist and would not wear them under my bib shorts or tights. Though now, they are worn to the gym under tights, I wear them hiking, fly fishing, you name it. I also could not imagine wearing a jock strap for support. I tried an ergowear jock but those straps hit me right wear my bikinis did, which I hate.

I'm a retired runner (achilles surgery in 2018). If you wear thongs or g strings, find ones made specifically for active wear like Aswemove. Under Armour makes womens thongs. Runners have to prevent chaffing everywhere. I used to wear mens g strings from Fredericks of Hollywood made of nylon or polyester blend and they chaffed a lot. Also recommend using anti chaffe balms to reduce friction.

I wear thongs 99% of the time. Once in a while I like wearing very loose shorts instead of a thong. I'm very active, I life weights, HIIT, walk, swim, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, and hit the beach in a thong. Now I haven't done laps at a pool yet but my gym has a few lanes and I'm going to take the plunge and do laps. If someone says something I'll be respectful, ask a couple questions and see where the conversation goes.
