I'm a physicist and for me pointing down is the ground state: it's the position with the most stability and the least energy required, thus making it the most comfortable.

I am a grower, so it is natural for me to have my dong pointed down when flacid.

I most definitely prefer down.

It's just something so sexy about the hanging downward and it feels anatomically correct . I've tried up, but find it just feels awkward; I only want to point somewhat up when I ready for "action". I'm also a grower but do have a lil something, something in the flaccid state .

I wear thongs if I am really looking for more frontal support (especially for runs). However, I prefer g-strings (daily) and especially on booty day in the gym.

Mostly I wear my thongs pointing down. Most of the thongs I have have a rather low cut front (iSwim u1026, u1026, u3008, u3021). They are designed for wearing pointing down. However I have a few types which fit better wearing pointing up (iSwim u3007, u1009). 90-95% of the time a wear a suit designed for wearing pointing down, and every now and then I wear a suit designed for pointing up. I disadvantage of a suit designed for pointing up I find your d#ck will easily pop out when getting a bit aroused. When wearing a pointing down suit the bulge will just get a bit larger, but it will stay in.

I prefer pointing up, but I do have a couple pair of bikinis that are low rise, so I have definitely popped out the top before. I have 2 flat front swimsuits that I tend to point up and to the right when I wear. Thankfully I’ve never popped out of those!

Pointing down. It is the natural way my dick should hang.

Since I started wearing thongs recently, I’ve noticed the whole pointing down vs. pointing up debate. Personally, I prefer pointing down—it just feels more natural. But I’ve had some thongs where the fit almost forces pointing up, which can get uncomfortable. Anyone know brands with thongs that fit perfectly regardless of position? Still learning here!

Up for me; a flat front is cool. Gravity works so I end up down a lot

I am on the smaller side so up is more comfortable to me. However a lot of my thongs, especially bulge thongs, are meant for down which is fine also.
