I also only swim in salt water, the ocean. I like the snug flat-front fit of my gaff thongs, and they are sturdy enough to stay on in rough surf without any strings. The modest look is fine for a crowded beach.

Since I only swim in the sea, I only have salt water as a reference. My iSwim ‘underwear’ suits (polyamide 88%, spandex 12%) are still in good condition. As soon ad I get home after a beach visit I rinse my thong suits thoroughly and dry them in a shady place.
When you say "a shady place" do you mean a dodgy part of town?

English is not my native language, so maybe I didin’t use the correct words. I meant a place not direcly in the full sunshine. Hope my ‘slip of the pen’ was a funny one. :D
