The freedom and comfort of a thong is why I never went back to anything with more coverage. The key to most anything is finding your confidence, comfort and self acceptance. Many of us have desk jobs, myself included. As a result I do everything I can to be active, be in the gym, cycle, hike, and swim. By no means is my body perfect but I have found my comfort with myself. As far as others opinion, I’ve found your confidence will aid in a positive reaction. Just be true to you and others will notice and appreciate.
How do you feel comfortable bicycling in a thong? I have to wear boxers or pants with contoured front. Few times doing short rides with bicycle having thongs (and outer layer of clothing) caused very uncomfortable abrasions. Everywhere else thongs are 100% in use.
It should have as little seams in crotch area as possible to be comfortable when you are pedalling. I found just one which are perfectly fine (HOM Plume G string). I know that 90% of cyclist riding commando, but it's just not comfortable for me and any other underwear causing skin irritations.
Okay thanks. I have some g-string so I have to test :-)

I also wear women's thongs too which I fit into nicely depending on the cut and fabric. I just got back from Singapore and wearing a thong definitely helped keep me cool!
Hi MBIT, what brands can you recommend? I think those might be okay, I'm likely going to fit in anything so long as the strings can stretch enough. That's more of the problem for me, finding the right size. I weigh about 185 pounds and I'm short and stocky with with wide hips and thick thighs, but frontwise, I think I can fit in anything that has a flat fabric (I'm really guessing plus-size women or XX or 3XL). I'm open to trying some girls' thongs/g-strings. Though, I'd have to start wearing a belt since I wear baggy shorts (as the wide openings keep things cool waist down) when I'm dressed casually and sometimes I have to feel the backside above my shorts if my underwear is sticking out, wouldnt want anyone to see my whaletail let alone one of women's underwear. On one or more occassions, I've felt the triangle of my iKingsky strings peeking above. Yeah, I gotta get myself a new belt hehe.
Hi mbit415 and reoDID! I am the guy who wears the gaff thongs to crowded beaches. This stays on in rough surf. Ironically I also weigh 185 and have wide hips and thick thighs from bike riding. This is from https://lexybblair.com/ , size M, here is a link to a photo at the Beach. https://www.imagebam.com/view/MES6GZV
Wow this has a nice look, flat but I can make do with that. Though I really think that V shape is so unflattering for a guy like me who is short, chubby, and stocky. I'll check it out though. Thank you very much for your recommendation. :) You look great in that thong. I've heard of gaffs, but maybe a feminizing string first for me.

I actually look better with the V shape, it dips below my belly instead of cutting across and making a "muffin top". It makes my short legs look longer too, and stays on better. Click on the photos at the LexyBBlair site, the second photo for each color shows how it looks with a modest bulge, as long as you don't downsize. The last black gaff looks like it might be a bikini rear, but my e-mailed question about that was not answered. I have 39" hips and wear size M. Waist size does not count as these ride on your hips. Thanks for saying I look great, you can look great too. It does not make me look feminine, though.

Hello from Canada.

I would say I am an experienced thonger. I am 32 years old, and started wearing thongs when I was 11.

I am active on other forums too. You can find me on Thongboard, Mensthongforum and Whale-tail forum. Also, I have an Instagram account for my thong photos. My IG handle is @kimmytooshy.

Hi there from France!

New to the forum, but not new to thongs and skimpy underwears :) I'm a thongs wearer since something like 20 years now, so they are fully part of my drawer and routine, they are just normal undies for me. I alternate also with other kind like bikinis or tangas.
Nice to have find this forum, and interesting to see differences betwen US and Europe, but in the end for people on this forum we clearly have the same point of interest and approach:)

Welcome to the forum. I think you may well be our first member from France. I'm sure coming from a country where speedos are required in some pools, you might be surprised by the reaction in other parts of the world to skimpier swimwear. Look forward to hearing your experiences.

Hey reoDID,

I just went back and read your post. If you want to go for a flatter look, I suggest you try Koalaswim. They have Female Transformation suits, and they give you a flat front.

I am also small down there, and I am not in great shape as well. But, life is too short to wear boring underwear/swimwear. As long as you're happy in a thong, it is all good.
