Insta/YouTube all seem to be geared toward women. As in from a "etiquette, acceptance perspective" to people commenting. I haven't had any issues on insta from commenter, although the bot police do mark some of my posts as going against their policies from time to time. Even though my posts are just about underwear and swimwear and there's much worse on insta. I even had some photos of underwear on a mannequin being said to have gone against community policy whatever. Only to have it appealed a few times and been accepted.
Overall there is a trend to people not being boisterous about men's wear but they do still exist as it's only been about 15-25 years since thongs and other options started opening back up again for men. For the moment it's mostly mens boxers and shorts for underwear and swimwear in almost all big box retail (online and off)
