You bought from brands that I’m super interested in. How are they?
Well, I love them, but the smaller and more see through the better for me. iSwim no matter how I try to size them up are still very very small, they barely cover my bits, but are great fun and I’ve had a few compliments about them. Tangaland are the best, so comfortable, rediculously small but very stretchy, the gold standard. It’s the first time I’ve bought Mategear and I went a little silly, so I bought the strappy thongs and G-strings, they cover almost nothing but are super sexy and fun.
Can’t wait for next summer.

I'm impressed with you other guys who have the courage to wear a thong in a public setting such as a change room, sauna , pool, hot tub or beach. I took that leap of faith at a community pool in Canada. Our local parks and rec management has explicitly approved thong swimwear as acceptable, therefore I knew that at least I wouldn't be asked to leave. On a quiet weekday morning in May 2025 I went into the change room that had about 10 men and I changed into my swim thong, walked out to the pool deck and swam laps for 30 minutes. After the swim I walked to the co-ed hot tub and sauna. The environment was totally chill and no one made me feel the least bit uncomfortable. I should have rocked the thong ages ago. Since then I have been going at least once each week. I also swim at a public outdoor pool in which is only open during summer months. Maybe next time I won't be the only man in a thong. It's my mission to break the ice, advance the acceptance and normalization of men's thongs and make it easier for others. Someone please show up!

I have two friends that go with me to local beach and we rent boats. We have an entire group that hangs out.

Recently my local beach closed for some maintenance work. That left me looking for a new place to go for a few days. The first park/beach I went to I left almost as fast. There vibes there was not congruent with wearing a thong. The beach was filled with young children (very loud children). All the moms were dressed in shorts and shirts. Not one bikini on the beach on anyone. Next I found a lake that I had about a mile hike to, but it was much better. I set up on a small beach. There were a number of young women wearing cheeky and thong bikinis. When I stopped down to my thong I got a couple of looks and giggles. Otherwise nothing was said to me. I ended up on a beach being the only man in a thong. I jumped in the water a few times, just acting like I belonged.

Happy to be back in Canada. So many thong bottoms on the beach. I can be in a thong swimsuit and no one bats an eye.

I was on the beach wearing my white and blue N2N Maverick thong. I overheard a woman talking about traveling to Boulder, Colorado, saying she has never been there. I offered her a few words about the city and a few places to check out while there. We ended up spending the day together talking about our travel adventures and the pursuit of happiness. She didn’t seem to mind what I was wearing at all. We were just two people on the beach with a common interest having a very pleasant conversation. Smile, be confident, be friendly, and be kind, it will get you new friends and acquaintances.

The first time is always the hardest, building up the courage to strip down to just a swim thong in public. Once you have decided to try it, it’s best to leave all other swimwear at home so you can’t back out. I wore my first thong on the beach in my 20s, the feel of the narrow back strap between my bum cheeks was awesome and then experiencing it tightened as I inevitably grew hard. You just have to accept erections happen and a bulge is nothing to be ashamed of. I have been thonging for 30 years now and it still gives me a feeling of excitement to be in just a thong or g-string at the beach with my bum exposed. Over time my thongs have got smaller and I now prefer a bulge enhancing thong that emphasises my package pushing it up and forward, with narrow sides. I also sometimes wear a T-back pouch g-string.
Each time gets easier than the last so just be brave, embrace you bulge and feel the breeze on your bum you won’t regret it.
