The only influence I’ve had is to persuade her that the thong version of her underwear and swimwear look awesome on her fit, trim body.

In the bedroom I love thong wear on my lady and me ! She is more than happy to oblige me by wearing but I think she sees them as feminine and prefers me in hipsters , which are not my taste . But It’s not a hill I’m prepared to die on and I’m more than happy with the status quo !

I remember 17 years ago when I was dating my now current wife: I expressed my desire to see her in thongs and g-strings, and I wanted to buy her some sexy underwear. I had so much needless shame and embarrassment when asking her. And why I did, I have no idea, because I knew her, and I knew how she would answer (and I would receive no judgement from her!!!) Well, the shame and embarrassment was because of the repressed cultural context and shame culture that we both grew up in...

Well, she enthusiastically obliged!!! She bought some, then I went and bought some for her as well. Fast forward to know, and she will wear a variety of options based on what feels right and the occasion. She has definitely been converted over to well fitting g-strings (we learned to size up), and she will often wear them along with string bikinis and wool bikinis.

Now, she wears a mix of cotton/wool bikinis, string bikinis, thongs, g-strings, and commando just based on what is comfortable for the day. She does love wool!

(And of course a short while into the marriage I expressed my desire to wear skimpy thongs and g-strings, and she very enthusiastically approved--discussed in a different thread!) We both go thonging (g-stringing) in more remote swimming holes or out on our back deck.

Women's underwear options I have purchased for my wife that she likes:
Icebreaker bikinis (these very nice for more coverage wool bikinis). They also make thongs.
Calvin Klein String Bikini's and G-Strings (they are super comfortable, and they last a long-time)
Aerie G-strings (very comfortable)
Skims - in the last year I've purchased her some Skims G-strings, string bikinis, and even some micro g-strings. She says they are all super comfortable and sometimes she forgets she is even wearing them. I just ordered some new colors for her.

Women's Swimwear:
BerryDog - G-string - pretty reasonable compared to other higher end brands though still a hair more expensive than some brands on Etsy. I think the seller also has a shop on Etsy called FreshKini.

I've found Etsy to be a good resource--especially for super micro and sexy options

- The Shining Fashion - I purchased her a sexy, adjustable string tanga that is adjustable in front and back - suitable for nearly every beach--except for church camp... highly recommended.
- ThongGarden - G-strings - very micro - though these are SUPER high cut - may not be for everyone
- Affaire Bikinis (Georgia - USA) - super micro - okay but nothing fancy

I am 46 years old, my gf is 27.her mother is from finland and her father is greek.so she has a perfect combination of dark skin, black hair and eyes and the north european body.She wears only thongs and g strings and as i say to her she is born to wear them.
My ex wife was the classic mediterranean woman but she was trying hard to improve her body. She was also in thongs.she prefered thongs with big waistband and big triangle at the back. She had also some g strings but really didnt suit her.
