The biggest size this goes up to is 38-inches for the XL...
I really do wish that manufacturers that specialize in making men's underwear would get it through their heads that men who have waist sizes bigger than 38 inches DO indeed wear thongs and bikinis! Who are they to decide that, just because I don't have the body of a Calvin Klein underwear model, or an Olympic athlete, that I should settle for huge, baggy Y-fronts and boxer briefs?! This is why a lot of big & tall-sized men, who like the thong and bikini styles are often forced to wear women's panties as an alternative to Y-fronts and boxers because they would rather wear panties instead of Y-fronts and boxers!

I did order some zero briefs this week and I am waiting for them to arrive. I ordered 1 dominate and 1 aspire, they look like they will be a great functional thongs. They did give 10% off when I bought two. They are spendy , I will see if they are worth that . It looks like they came out with a new color lagoon .

I have the stone, black, and the cream color. So far I like the Aspire collection better, but I've not had them and worn them enough to give a truly unbiased opinion yet. I did see the new color Lagoon, I am holding off on buying them until I give the first three a proper run.

What’s the difference between Dominate and Aspire, and what makes you like Aspire better?

Both are 85% polyester/biosynthetic and 15% lycra. From their website, Dominate main attribute is to remove heat and keep your genitals cool during high performance like running and cycling. Asprire is softness and stretch and best for daily wear, yoga or any physical activity. The Dominate material was more silky feeling, so under my compression shorts I felt they slid down more. While the cut of each is similar, the Aspire sat better on my butt - I contribute this to the stretch and the tail design; with the Dominate I felt the tail more. Neither were uncomfortable but I simply liked the Aspire more. They are both super thin, light weight, I truly felt almost naked while wearing them. I did have the issue of the waist rolling some, but the material is thin it never bothered me.

Great comparison David_NC. I just recently purchased both of them , and I noticed right away just how light they are, nothing else I have compares to these weight wise. Also the seams are almost not existant . IDK if they consider that laser cut or what. Great styles to wear under tights, etc . So far I have worn them both as daily underwear and the both worked great. I will try them for workouts, but haven't as of yet .

Thanks for all of the details. I've been trying not to buy any new underwear, as I have way too much already. Mentally, the only exception I've made is to get some As We Move zero briefs. I can't really tell the difference between the Aspire and Dominate lines, except for the small price difference, but it sounds like that more guys here like the Aspire line.

Hoping to get a couple pair once they are available again. I especially hope that they'll have more of the Lagoon colorway available again.

The main difference i found is, the Dominate line is single layer thru-out and depending on the colour can be semi transparent. The aspire line is single layer on the back, and double lined in the front.

I really wish they would just spell it out like that instead of filling their site full of fluff and marketing gimics, but thats the main difference between the 2 "series". I literally had to buy a few of both types to figure it out.

As far as fabric composition between the 2, i cant give a definitive answer. They seem nearly identical, however i am comparing between 2 different colours between Dominate and Aspire and that alone can have a texture/feel difference for synthetic fabrics. With that said, the Aspire seemed to have a slightly thicker fabric with a tad more stretch.

They also have a .com and .ca site. and Canadians can only order from the .ca. However they only list the zero brief on the .com. Ive emailed them a few times as to when they are going to add the zero for Canadian customers, but they haven't given me a timeline yet. Kind of disappointing since they are based in Canada. but fyi the product is made in china.

I want to finally try the zero brief eventually. But as far as their other products go, i mean, i dont see it being ground breaking in the world of enthusiasts like ourselves. I think the large amount of positive traction that they have gotten is mainly because its a significant improvement in fit and feel over boring box store underwear which the masses consume. Personally there are some other seamless style underwear that has better fit and stretch then the aswemove stuff, but to each their own. I would say they are generally decent overall.

These are my everyday wear. I purchase the Aspire line and besides the black, stone, and sand color, I have gotten the two special colors they came out with for a short time. Venom which was along the lines of a fluorescent green and Koi. Even though Koi doesn't show up as a color on the website, I did a search and was still able to order some about a month or so ago. Venom is a no go. I too wear large and have had no issues.

Honesty ive almost given up on the brand.

Like i mentioned before, they have the US website and Canadian website for reasons unknown. And i have yet to been able to get some more Aspire pairs. They had some in stock like 8 months ago, i placed an order, and after waiting 3-4 weeks they canceled. Worst thing is, they are a Canadian company located not too far away, the owner seems to run it from his home which is fine by any standard. Thing is. They have yet to have any of the thongs back in stock yet the US site has them in plenty.

Ive politely contacted CS, and have always gotten a quick response but they have never had an a ETA on pairs. A few months i get it, but almost a year, is unacceptable. Shame really because their Aspire really has been a great daily pair.

Shame they really had something going, but key part of successful marketing is making sure both your target markets are properly fulfilled. And for the price these cost, i would expect better imo.
