me in my bikinis
Re: me in my bikinis
Cruise! My wife and I will be sailing soon - 9 days with swim brief/bikini options every day!
Around the pools, at the pool bars, up on the 'sundeck' (hello 1" suits!) and at least 3 off-ship beaches.
And, other than my wife, I don't know anyone at any of them!
I'll try and bring back photos! Summer is about to begin!

Always wanted to go on a cruise, hopefully one day and in proper style as yourself and as of a proper flattering swimwear supportermrrigid wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 9:23 pm Cruise! My wife and I will be sailing soon - 9 days with swim brief/bikini options every day!

Cruise Part 1
Back from the cruise and it was a big success bikini-wise (and otherwise). I've included some photo highlights, but my advice to any guy wanting to try bikinis is to go for it - pool or beach or cruise or whatever, you get used to it fast and it feels awesome!
Day 1 - my wife and I usually wear swimsuits onboard under our clothes, so we can get out to the pools before everyone else. My Nike Shark Mod is fairly modest, but we'd left our clothes by the hot tub, and been swimming, then on the waterslides, then at the flowrider (where I got a lesson from a lovely young woman), then to mini golf.
In all, I spent maybe 2 hours far away from any of my other clothes. A great way to start the vacation!
Day 2 - at the main pool / Pool Bar in my Clubswim/iSwim Essential Brief. Now we're talking! And I hadn't even had a drink!
Day 3 - back at the pool in my Sporti Euro Bikini - pretty much my favorite suit.
Day 5 - St Maarten beach in my Sporti HydroLast Solid Brief. If I'd have known we have this much space on the beach I would have worn something smaller!
Coming in Part 2 - A Speedo Solar at the floating bar, and my smallest suits of all!

Cruise Part 2
Day 7 - a full day day at the beach. We got a great spot to hang out and I wore three different bikinis over the course of the day.
I started the day in the black version of my Sporti Euro - again a favorite! Seeing the front seam in my Speedos, my wife definitely preferred the flat-front Euros.
But the Speedos got their turn - next came two classics - my red Speedo Shoreline - which definitely stands out!
Near the end of the day, I put on my Speedo Solar 1" and we left everything else on the beach and headed over to the floating bar and had some Red Stripes. I wore only the Speedo while we enjoyed beers, and people came and went from the bar. We talked weather with two lovely young ladies from the ship in tankinis, and we wound up being the last customers off as the bartenders packed up the coolers!
Day 8 - heading home - time to go for it on the sundeck, two decks above the pool and more private. It was time for my N2N Vortex suits - first in black.
Then the Vortex in white. I haven't actually been in the water in this one - though I bet it would be kinda see-through!
All in all, I wound up in 10 different suits in 9 days - a good thing they dry quickly!
Special thanks to my wonderful, patient wife who took all the photos and put up with hearing "will you take more pictures of me" all through her vacation!
Over the course of the cruise I saw at least three other guys in bikinis - one at the pool, one on the beach, one on the sundeck. Each time, I felt bad I wasn't similarly attired right then, or I would have given them the thumbs-up!
My advice to anyone seeking these situations is to get out there and get far from your regular clothes as you can! To adapt a phrase - you'll never know a bikini is all you need until a bikini is all you've got!

Re: me in my bikinis
Good to hear you had a good time on your cruise and were able to wear a selection of speedos over the course of your vacation. Interesting to see how your suits became smaller and more daring as the holiday progressed culminating in the white one with the two stripes of colour above the pouch. I'm guessing the reason for that is due to your confidence growing with each passing day because white can be very revealing(lol). Curious to know why in some of the pics your face is visible, but in others it's blurred? Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences.

Wow it sounds like you and your wife had a wonderful vacation! I've only been on one cruise but it was long before I thought about wearing bikinis. If I ever get to make another one you can bet I'll be wearing them! I would also echo your advice to anyone wanting to try briefs..just do it! The more you wear them in public the more comfortable and confident you become.
I took my wife on a little mini-vacation to the beach for her Mother's Day gift a few weeks ago. We stayed at a condo in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We had a great day on the beach and I wore a navy Sporti Euro bikini. The weather and water were beautiful. It was actually my first time wearing the Euro on the beach. I also had a Clubswim brief but never pulled it out as I was enjoying tanning in the smaller Euro suit. It was a great day and it felt great wearing my bikini out there.
On a sad note, we walked down the beach about a mile or so amid thousands of beach goers and I didn't see one other man or boy wearing anything sensible for swimming. Not even a single square cut suit. In fact, more than a few men were covered up with rash guard shirts in the water and few with hoodies on! I get that it was a sunny day and they don't want to get sunburnt, but I would much rather load up on sun block than be bogged down like that. Each to his own. I guess though it doesn't really surprise me in this part of the USA.

Yep, the plan was definitely to get briefer as the vacation went on! It really does become easier and easier.
I also wanted to justify buying all those suits by wearing them.
I could say I was chasing the warm weather, but honestly, the Nike Shark isn't much warmer than the Solar!
In the blurred ones,I'm in my regular glasses (or I was blinking). In the shades I'm closer to anonymous - a bit.TANGA TANGA wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 12:21 pm Curious to know why in some of the pics your face is visible, but in others it's blurred? Haha, no I should have clarified that. I had on my shorts and shirt at that point because we were walking to a restaurant to eat. But that would have been a great confidence booster had I only been wearing my bikini!

I should do the same with my bikini photos.
