I'm not entirely sure where the tipping point is into more of a bikini classification than low-rise or something else. The MOST modest underwear I have are Jockey elance bikinis. Then the Hanes and Life/Jockey string bikinis, and smaller from there.

My underwear drawer is full of Kiniki micro briefs, mostly black but have just ordered some different colours which they recently started producing. I love the cut and front seam. Very comfortable and great knowing I have something skimpy on beneath my trousers.

Sounds similar to my underwear drawer just with Kiniki Gentsmart, Wonderbrief and Harry Narrow Front instead. Just ordered a few more of the Harry's as the fit is amazing.

I stopped wearing briefs regularly for a long time, but it wasn't until fairly recently that I began to wear them again but not just any like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom.
I like the ribbed cotton kind of colored briefs, especially those with white trim.
But, yes, during the hot months, I now wear both briefs and bikinis more regularly and occasionally trunks. During cold months, I wear more boxer briefs and boxers.

In all the time I've been following and contributing to TBD and this forum, it's probably true to say that I'm known for being almost exclusively a g-string wearer even though I do have other styles in my drawers that occasionally see the light of day. Anyway, today I decided to order a 6 pack of string bikinis of a brand that previously I had only bought g-strings from. I remember the colour bleeding on one of the g-strings after a wash, but hopefully that won't be the case with the bikinis. It has been a while since I treated myself to some new undies, so it will be a thrill to have them pop through my letterbox. Will possibly do a review of them once I've given them a few outings and washes.
Review of JJSOX string bikinis. Bikinis came in a wallet sized plastic pouch with a sticker saying Made in China 6-pack assorted(colours) medium. On opening the pouch I discovered the label on the strings said L. Not a good start. I took out one of the bikinis and put it on. Nice pouch and a low rise back, but unfortunately, the narrow waistband felt loose and didn't cling to my body the way it should. I wasn't confident that the bikini would stay in place under trousers and normal day to day movement, and sure enough, within an hour of wearing it at work, it had slipped right down below my butt.
Although it was a size large rather than a medium, it should still have been sufficiently tight to stay up, so I believe the problem was with the poor elastic within the waistband. Might wear them lounging around the house, but will not risk it under trousers.

Same bro! I’m all about skimpy tanga style ruched Brazilian cut bikini. I love the feeling of it riding up and showing the bikini lines! Love wearing them under suits to really show off my visible panty line.

I have both briefs and bikinis. I've been wearing more briefs lately mostly because I took up running (I wear the shorter running shorts) and because I wanted to wear something different after wearing boxer briefs and boxers for almost 20 years.

All of my bikini briefs are on the micro side of fit, I have quite a few that are string sided, I much prefer very narrow sides and low cut.

Having been disappointed by the JJSOX bikinis I reviewed above, I decided to try again with a different brand from a UK seller on Ebay. These bikinis come in small poly bags with Chinese writing, so I can't say which brand they are, however they are a big improvement on my previous purchase.
They are made of 85% Polyamide and 15% Spandex and come in many vibrant colours. The pouch is narrow, but has a little extra material which will favour those who prefer the down position. The back is between a halfback and three quarter back and clings nicely to the cheeks with no movement. Love the smooth feel when I run my hand down my butt. The waistband is 1cm thick and consists of three coloured strips(turquoise, pink and yellow) which contrast nicely with the colour of the bikini. The colours of the waistband are the same on all of the ones I have. They look and feel great and are semi transparent depending on the colour. I hope to have one of each colour by the end of this month and they won't break the bank. lol. Can give the name of the Ebay seller if anyone wants to message me privately.
