At the beginning of the movie, Stallone goes into the kitchen and drinks a glass of raw eggs. I distinctly remember that he was wearing a little grey cotton bikini brief. It has been a long time since I have seen it, but I remember that scene.

One such programme that springs to mind was a spoof of the classic British show The Professionals which ran from the late 70's into the early 80's.In the original,Bodie and Doyle,played by Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw respectively,were two tough guy MI5 agents who drove around in a Ford Capri catching criminals, while driving their no nonsense boss round the bend with their unconventional methods.
In the spoof,called The Bullshitters,which came out in the mid 80's,Bonehead and Foyle,played by Keith Allan and Peter Richardson,run around the streets, most of the time wearing just leather jackets and very skimpy bikini briefs. It is all very homo erotic and the ending is both surprising and hot.Apparently,the members of the public seen in the background were unaware of the spoof nature of the programme and must have wondered why two guys in skimpy undies were chasing after buses and diving into phone boxes.
I'm sure the two leading actors had an absolute blast running around busy streets with their modesty barely covered.

Stumbled upon a great beach scene from another underwear blog site. The clip is from a british tv show called 'Root into Europe'...this scene shows the older british couple stumble upon a rather funky European beach scene. There is female toplessness in the clip....hope I don't get into trouble for sharing this one : ) The beach scene i'm talking about is at 40:00

This is a masterclass in comedy by one of Britain's finest character actors,George Cole. Dressed like the stereotypical Englishman abroad, especially the dreaded socks and sandals combo,he captures perfectly the discomfort of the ageing,square guy surrounded by guys in thongs and topless girls. The part where he sees the girl removing her bikini top and quickly pushes down the fast inflating fin of the blow up shark is visual comedy at its best. Thanks for posting the link to this!

TANGA TANGA The clip of John Travolta in his black bikinis is classic. John Travolta was the epitome of a 'cool guy' and he looked good in those bikinis. That british show 'The Bullshitters' was awesome. Thanks for sharing that clip. Foyle just nonchalantly walking into the apartment in his leather jacket and skimpies = classic. Seems like we lack original stuff like that with how politically correct everything seems to be today. Gotta love the brits for the originality.

I loved that clip from 'Root into Europe'....very funny (with his inflatable shark) but also quite the beach scene. I still think that Europeans have north America beat when it comes to the beach scene. It was cool how in the end, George Cole's character warms up to being around the sexy Europeans and how his wife was cool with being with that crowd. I think the brits are often portrayed as being stuffy and uptight but sometimes I think that's more the case in North America! Somebody on the thongboard website had posted this clip so thanks to that person also! I have discovered some other retro European movies with similar scenes that I'll post in this thread : )

Glad you enjoyed The Bullshitters and their very skimpy bikinis(lol). You are right about Europeans beating America etc with their attitudes to men in speedos,bikinis etc. I never tire of posting my experiences of seeing how cool and matter of fact Italian guys(of all ages) are about wearing brief swimwear,and not just at the beach. Have seen guys dressed only in a bikini, in shops,on buses and motorbikes,and jogging along main roads,and no-one seems to object.

TANGA TANGA Those were some seriously skimpy and awesome bikinis on those guys in the Bulshitters. If you have more clips or tv shows like that keep em' coming sir. Was awesome to see two mates just hanging out in bikinis together. I really wish I had a guy my own age to hang with in bikinis. But it sounds like I may need to go back to Italy! I was in Italy last year actually (went to Naples, Rome, Venice and Milan) but I didn't get much beach time in. Prior to Italy I was in Greece. The Athens Riviera was very cool...saw quite a lot of guys in speedos. I even saw an older guy in a swimthong once. Also I remember seeing a in shape guy with his wife roll up his speedos on the side to make them skimpier. He even did push ups on the beach too. You just don't see that in Canada much haha. I was also on Naxos island which was pretty good for seeing speedos. In the shops there were a lot of retro looking skimpy swimwear postcards (showing guys in skimpy swimwear and topless girls) : ) Some beaches/areas I saw a lot of boardshorts but still I did see quite a few speedo guys. I remember seeing a guy (in his 20s?) with his mom and dad walking through the town in his black bikini speedos! It was very cool. I wanted to talk to him/make friends with him but I didn't know how to approach him : / It was a very euro beach town scene. Europeans are just so much more relaxed about the body. It seems like Italians are even more of a speedo wearing nation compared to Greece though?! The one thing that Greece might have on Italy is the beaches? I mean, Greece has crystal clear beaches and a laid back vibe. Italy felt a lot busier to me but that's ok.....they are two different countries with their own thing going on. I imagine Sicily is a lot more laid back than the rest of Italy though. In general though...Europe=speedo paradise?

I have seen that clip before and thought that the older guy who was being interviewed in the office by the reporter, did a great job of promoting the Hom string bikinis he was holding up and dealt in an informative way with the reporter's "don't you think they're too revealing" questions.
I agree with you that I thought the model wore them too low on his hips.Also,the girl standing next to him in a skimpy bikini was a bit of a hypocrite saying it was alright for her to be dressed like that,but not for a man. Glad the clip finished on a positive note with the girl saying she wished more guys would wear string bikinis,while her husband/boyfriend was lying next to her.
