My gf loves when I wear thongs, she mentions that I am bold when I wear them. She has bought me several, which I totally think awesome. I value her opinion and it's nice that she thinks likes me wearing thongs.
My previous gf , she did not like me wearing smaller underwear. She could figure why I would want to wear that. She confided in one her friends about it , her friend later would call me be a pornstar name. I am glad that one is over with!

I honestly do like to see a thong on a man. I've only seen it a couple times in person but I always admire the confidence and, yes, I think it's sexy.
Love hearing this and wish this was more commonplace. Many of us, myself included, struggled with the perception of being weird for wearing one. I have still never worn one in public. My wife is the only person who knows and it it took her time to get used to it Comforting to know you see it as sexy! Thanks for sharing.

So, I want to append my original email earlier in this thread.
I totally think it depends. My wife loves me in thongs and g-strings and thinks it's totally hot. There are a lot of women that may have never been exposed to a partner in a thong, so they may not know what they prefer.
Here in the PNW, folks are a bit more sex positive and sexually open--especially in metro areas. (Though honestly, I think this is happening across the country.) So, I think there would be an openness to men in thongs in certain communities. (Not that thongs are always about sex as I wear mine for comfort along with my own sensuality.)
I also think that among some feminists (and conservatives) find a thong and male genitalia offensive. I also think there are a lot of folks that are repressed by their culture and religious upbringing. Some of them might spring to life if a partner was in a thong, and some might be offended. I think it all depends. Also, thongs are prevalent across the political spectrum. Like many people, women might be one way in public and another way in private--so the context matters.
